Helps heal cold sores
Love this. Helps prevent cold sores. And helps heal cold sores more quickly than topical treatment (ointment) alone or no treatment.If needed for treatment: I take 3/day spaced apart — 1 in morning, 1 about noon, 1 before bed, all on empty stomach. And I also use the Lysine+ lip ointment.For prevention: I take regularly 1/day in morning on empty stomach…at least…when I remember to.Heads up—The pills are fairly large.Please note, I am not a doctor or pharmacist. Just providing reviews based on my personal experience.

Smooth is their best feature
1,000 mg l-lysine are often large and difficult to swallow. These are smooth and I have no problem swallowing these. So welcome since the ones I had used sometimes get stuck.

Huge pill
Look at how HUGE this pill is. Waste of money, no way I can swallow this thing.

Received damaged product
I received a bottle with a damaged seal and was unable to return it. The tablets are very difficult to swallow compared to the capsules in the Lysine 500 mg. bottle.

Caused Nosebleed After First Dose
Got this today and was only starting with half a pill in case of any side effects. Glad I did. Took maybe an hour ago and now my nose is bleeding. Just looked it up and this is a side effect. Hopeful that I don't experience any other ill effects or internal bleeding. Be careful.
