I thinks it’s pine, maybe check with the seller. It’s a while since I bought it.

If it’s like the one I bought, surely it must be. Looks good and solid but the only way of telling is to saw it in half….and I’m not doing that! How else can u tell?

No, no gloss. Also much lighter than the picture. Mine doest have such tanned edges
