Legit Game Changer
First, the negatives. While it can use multiple maps for a multi-story home, it's a bit clunky. You basically need to start it on the primary floor, pause it, carry it to the new floor, und unpause. It works, but will roam around looking for the base until the battery dies once it's done. Second, it doesn't get all the way up to the edge of the room. The only place I notice it is near the dishwasher, where some crumbs and things of that nature are missed. Very minor, but worth mentioning. Third, the vacuum is just okay. It works great on solid surfaces and average on carpeting. The thicker the carpet, the worse it will do. Fourth, it really struggles with height transitions. We have mostly hard-surface floors (LVP and hardwood) with some thicker shag rugs on carpet pads in the living rooms. To be fair, they are very thick. However, this robot cannot consistently climb them, so we have blocked them as no-go zones in the map and just vacuum by hand. All of these problems need to be addressed via software updates or engineering advancements in future generations. If you've read this far, you're probably wondering why I gave it 5 stars. In short- despite those flaws- this robot is legitimately kinda life-changing. As previously mentioned, we have a lot of hard flooring. We have kids and a dog. They bring dirt into the house no matter how hard we try to be careful...it just happens. Keeping the floors free of debris and looking clean required vacuuming every couple days and mopping at least once per week. The mopping, in particular, is awful. It's a literal pain in the back, stuff like a Swiffer mostly pushes the dirt around and gives it a clean looking appearance, but doesn't get it truly clean (in my opinion), and it really only looks good for a few days max before the sunlight shines across those floors and shows you how filthy/smudged they are again. This robot ended that headache for good. The roller mop design is unique to Eufy and will 100% become the industry standard in short order. It does a far better jobs than we ever did as humans and we come home to a perfectly clean floor. We setup a Monday/Wednesday/Friday schedule and that works really well for us. The navigation, object avoidance, and app are absolutely fantastic. We had an older Roomba before that did okay, bit it got stuck every once in a while, scuffed our baseboards, and sucked up every shoelace or cord it could find. I'm sure newer models from that brand are light years beyond the one we had, but this Eufy just does a fantastic job in all those categies. The maintenance is easy, intuitive, and brilliantly designed. This is so important and so underrated. I cannot stress how well-designed and constructed this robot is from top to bottom. My biggest fear before purchasing it was the complexity and likelihood of maintence headaches, but it is really, really well-executed. I could go on, but suffice it to say I'm thrilled with this purchase, despite the shortfalls I detailed above. This robot isn't cheap and I can't truly speak to longevity because we've only owned it for 5-6 months, but it's been almost flawless in that time. If you have mostly carpets, there are probably better options out there. If you have hard flooring or a mix and you can really take advantage of the mopping, this robot is an absolute no-brainer.

Best bang for the buck
UpdateAfter 6 weeks of use we're still loving this little Robovac. As a matter of fact I'm removing my criticism of its edge cleaning performance. It has gotten much better with edge and corner cleaning for vacuuming. I assume it learns and refines its mapping every time it cleans. That, along with the square design, it's now picking up crumbs right at the edges and in the corners. Eufy just needs to figure out how to extend the mop to edge and it would be perfect. Not once has it gotten stuck, lost or had a problem docking to the base. Considering how well it cleans it's very frugal with water usage, we don't have to refill the clean water tank as often as we thought we would and the cleaning solution bottle still feels full.I did the first cleaning of the robot and it wasn't too bad. The dirty water tank on the robot does hold some sediment on the bottom and was the hardest thing to clean. I cleaned it by using some Dawn Powerwash spray and the kitchen sink sprayer to get it out. The opening is too small for a brush and there are some little hoses in there that I didn't want to chance messing up. The dust bin filter just needed blowing off and it was good to go. Also, the self emptying works really well since there was no debris in the dust bin. The roller mop looked like the day it came out the box, it should last a long time. The vacuum roller brush had no hair stuck to it. The base had some sediment in the sump/screen where the dirty water dumps from the Robot and some debris. However it's extremely easy to clean.Even though the robot's dirty water tank is a little difficult to clean due to the sediment at the bottom, it also is a sign of how well the self cleaning roller mop design works. The dirt goes into the tank instead of being held in the mop and smeared back on the floor by traditional mop pads of the other robots.Having mostly hard floors with a few rugs, this little robot has been a huge help with upkeep by doing all the floor cleaning. We thought we would have to mop and vacuum at least once a month even with the robot but NOPE. When we ran the regular vacuum it didn't pick up anything out the rugs or off the floor and the mop water was clean. The only places we have to clean are areas where the robot can't reach.IMO the self cleaning roller mop is going to be the future. This is Eufy's first shot at this design and I'm sure they will have some improvements like extending the mop to the side for improved edge cleaning. I also suggest a mop only function and a way to detect how dirty the water coming off the mop is so it can automatically go to deep clean mode if necessary.Great floor cleaner and exceeds expectations. Easy to setup and easy to use. Does an exceptional job mopping the floors. It does a good job vacuuming the carpet but it specializes in hard floor cleaning. Mapping is quick and accurate. Obstacle avoidance is top notch even in complete darkness. The only thing that needs improvement is it needs to get closer to the corners and walls for edge cleaning.Looked at the competition that’s far more expensive and they have no advantages over the Eufy S1 Pro to justify their price.

Great vacuum/mop system with a few issues.
Overall very happy with this vacuum - it does a great job with both mopping and picking up debris, especially pet hair. The mapping technology is very precise, enabling it to clean around furniture and along baseboards very well without scratching or denting items. It’s also able to precisely detect carpets and lift the mop when vacuuming the carpet, so it doesn’t get wet. I like that it uses ozone to ensure the water it is cleaning with is free of unwanted bacteria plus after each mop cycle it dries the mop, to ensure no to minimal bacterial growth.A few things to note: (1) it does require you to provide regular maintenance with changing brushes, filters, etc., else performance does go down. The app provides a simple interface to monitor maintenance cycles. (2) Two important sensors are missing, which is disappointing - one for when the dust bag is full and one for when the detergent is empty.
