Transfer aid
Great concept. Nice transfer aid, but the patient must be strong enough to stand on their own. The caregiver must be strong enough to counterbalance.

Poor quality
Difficult to use. Not sturdy. Do not recommend.

Great for lift from chair and swivel to wheelchair. Takes some muscle to use though.
Works great if you have some muscles. A little too much for one 85 year old to help another.

Fantastic and simple to use
My 79 year old husband is 6'2 and 260 pounds, blind and immobile. I would always have to call the hospital bus to take him anywhere in his wheelchair because it had a wheelchair lift. Found this device scrolling through Amazon. It's compact enough to store most anywhere. With this I take him to the car door in his chair, pull him up to the turntable with a Gait Belt, turn him on the platform and he easily sits in the passenger seat. Highly recommended!

Great tool for transfers, high quality, for medium weight or less.
Excellent tool, of higher quality than expected. Rotation has no brake but is not free rotation. Force must be applied to cause rotation. Good weight, easy to transport by hand carry or on its wheels. Assembly instructions acceptable but could be clearer. The tool requires continual hands on to keep the patient safely balanced. Cannot be moved with the patient on the device.

You need 2 people to transfer them safely patient safely
Works perfectly. If the person is bed ridden, you need 2 people to transfer them safely. Worth every penny.

Not safe for my disabled 71 year old spouse
This equipment is cheaply made and cannot support a 218 lb adult male. It does not have a break. The spinner is not heavy enough.

This Is Great!
My husband and I love this. My hubby (78 yrs) had major back surgery 3 months ago. After leaving UCSF 6 days after the surgery, he then went to a Nursing and Rehabilitation facility where he got ill with a sinus infection, severe dehydration, UTI, and Covid and had little or no PT for 2 weeks. Back to the hospital to cure him of the horrible Nursing of the un-named facility, and 6 days later home. Bedridden, unable to move his right leg, very weak left leg. I am 70 and handicapped. I had numerous doctors tell me ni could not take care of him. Two weeks after he came home, I was getting him out of bed and moving him to a chair because of this marvelous Turner. We just call it the "Whee!", like it is fun to spin, lol. Now that it has been two months since he came home, he is stronger, but still needs help standing, moving to the commode, or wheelchair when we go to outpatient PT. I am still told I couldn't do it, but thanks to this product, my husband of 51 years is getting better, has no pain any longer, and I am taking care of him. Thank you to the people who invented this, who marketed it, and who allowed me to be at home with my loved one.
