The moisture automatically regulated by Boveda packs
The media could not be loaded. A great device for keeping your instrument case at an ideal humidity, The Boveda Music Large Starter Kit is a simple, effective solution. Three Boveda humidity packs, 2 holders, and easy-to-follow instructions included. The moisture automatically regulated by the packs also helps prevent problems of cracking or warping as they occur in fluctuating climates. The kit is low maintenance, long-lasting, and perfect for stringed instruments, including guitars and violins. The initial investment is modest, but the protection goals provided make the cost of replacement packs worthwhile over the years. Overall, it's a requirement for any musician who wants to keep their instruments breathing longer. I have 2 humidifiers in the room and on top of that, I have these packs in all displays and cases. It's better to be safe than sorry.

Most important piece of protective gear for your wood instrument after a case!
As always Boveda has the best quality products and it was shipped very quickly with everything that was supposed to be in the package. This product is a 90 day fix it and forget it problem solver that allows you to keep optimum humidity for your large wood stringed instruments storage case regardless of the humidity levels outside your instrument case without dealing with trying to remember to re-wet messy sponges and allows you to avoid possible water damage to your instrument. It allows you to easily avoid fret sprout from shrinking necks or tuning issues from warped necks and so many other unpleasant, costly and likely damages to your instruments that assuming you are not a luthier can not fix effectively yourself, or perhaps you are a luthier, but would prefer to not allow the possibility of damage to your beloved instruments reguardless of the fact that you can fix it yourself. Then this product is for you! A elegant solution to an age old problem. I buy a new starter set to put in the case of every new guitar that I buy because it is so dry here pretty much round. Thank you Boveda! You have been my favorite accessory for instruments since I bought my first Boveda starter set with my first guitar! I hope you never stop making these products!

Trustworthy and they work as advertised - even longer!
Somehow these things just plain work. I keep small humidity monitors in my expensive guitar cases and these packets keep it dead on 49% humidity. And they work longer than 3 months too - usually around 6 months. They are more convenient (and more accurate) than sponge style. And they are less costly than the other brand that starts with a D.

Good Company - No Bargain Here
These cost too much in my opinion. Been using Boveda for decades as they traditionally just serviced cigar humidors ... now they're into weed and guitars. Pretty cool evolution. They work great. Should cost a bit less. Get some! Your luthier will smile.

Protect your musical instrument with these!
Super dry here in Colorado, especially in the winter with the furnace running...this kit kept my new guitar from drying out! Be sure to get a good solid case that keep moisture in and you're set.

Does absolutely nothing (or maybe I'm doing something wrong)
I bought a new Martin parlor guitar, my house is very dry, between 30-35rh most days in the winter (now) as we use wood heat. Bought a humidifier but it only boosted humidity slightly. Then I saw these so decided to try them. Put one in a pouch and put the pouch in the guitar case with the guitar, along with a hygrometer. The hygrometer works as it reads the same as the readout on the humidifier. Open the case after a day, 35rh, same as the house. Try it for a week. Same. Move it to a different spot in the case (not many available). Same. So try the double pouch - not sure why 2 would be necessary but might as well give it a whirl since I paid a lot for a guitar that I still don't dare to take out and play. Same. Too much a pain in the butt to return for me. Am I doing something wrong? Am I supposed to smash the pouches on the floor like an ice pack? Totally frustrated.
