You'll LOVE it!!
Wow! What a great product. Half baseball size hernia pushed back inside and kept in place. Wore it all day without discomfort. This is the third truss I have purchased. First two were beyond awful. Wore them for two hours or so and couldn't stand them. Didn't have high hopes for this one either. Boy, what a great surprise. Surgery in six weeks and I'll be wearing this truss for 2 months after that. THIS IS THE ONE! Got it? Get it. You won't be disappointed.

Best one yet
I've had a few of these and this one is the better one.Fits snug, keeps the hernia in place with very little pain if any.The only thing is the skin chaffing at the Velcro connection.

Very good design and materials, comfortable all day
I bought this to replace an earlier order of a cheaper brand which is not much good. After my first day of use, I think this one might be ideal. The waist belt is close to 3 inches wide and made of super strong elastic, which provides more than enough tightness. Its width helps it to lie flat against the body without rolling. The crotch belt elasticity is also more than enough for me, meaning as it begins to stretch with age there will still be enough tension to do the job. The Velcro is very grabby and in the right places, should last a long time. I will try to pull it on each morning without having to adjust the belt, to preserve the velcro. Comes with 2 pads, the thinner one is perfect for me.So far, very pleased. At the end of the day, no discomfort at all. My hernia has been there for 30 years or so, never painful, I press it back into place each morning and with a good truss it stays in place for the rest of the day.I am in my 80s now, and plan to wear a truss until the end. Will leave instructions for the embalmer on my adjustment preferences.

I have mixed feelings about this hernia support belt...
I've only owned one hernia belt aside from this one, so I can only compare it to that one. The one that I lost. I actually wish I had ordered the same one as before but for some reason this one looked as though it might be better and offer more support than the other. But looks can be deceiving. I mean it's not a horrible product or anything like that, it does work at times. But just not as much as the other one I had. But it's certainly better than not having anything.... Sometimes. Other times it actually makes the pain worse for some reason. Just not the best fit for my particular needs I suppose. It's ok though.

Good Inguinal Hernia Support Belt
This belt supports the proper area if I need to do heavy lifting. Already had a hernia repair about 23 years ago. This belt allows me to lift with confidence when it starts flaring up again. Otherwise it is not needed. I did not use the optional crotch strap and did not use either of the thick hernia pads. The pads were made of soft fabric so I imagine they would be comfortable. Good product.

absolutely thrilled
I am amazed at how much this belt has relieved my pain. I went to the ER ~a week ago thinking I was having an appendicitis but was told I had a hernia. I am waiting for n appointment to be evaluated by a surgeon and I am hearing that the surgery scheduling typically takes another 3-4 weeks. I could not picture tolerating the discomfort and pain for that long so I sought out things to reduce the pain and ordered this belt to try it out.I am so glad I found this as it has so dramatically reduced my pain, there are moments that I feel pretty much pain free. In general I think my pain has been reduced by at least 75%. It is pretty easy to put on and the velcro is completely adjustable. I thought the crotch strap would be very annoying but I barely notice it. The belt itself does dig in a little but tucking a shirt in helps quite a bit. I sometimes take it off while watching tv and the pain does dome back so I know it is effective.I generally wear it over a pair of lounge pants while at home but it is possible to fit under a pair of pants.I really think the ER doctors should tell us about these as it has made a very big difference in my ability to tolerate the pain.

Look around for others
I need compression on the right side which puts the waistband Velcro connection behind my back making it very hard to get on without help. The small strap is made of flat webbing but would be more comfortable if made from round webbing. Again the Velcro clasp for this strap is behind the back making it impossible to adjust its tightness without taking it off. The pad has seemed edges which extend out around the edge making it more uncomfortable. Be sure to measure hips and if at the top of the S/M size, go up. Why include S and M in one size anyway. If it's good at 30" what makes them think it will fit well at 44"?

Comes with instructions that are very helpful
It keeps my hernia fully pushed in all day and night it took some trial and error to get it right for me. The smallest is a little big for me but works great now
