This works great on my miniature schnauzer’s tear staining and mattes. My dog has under developed tear ducts, and she tears constantly. The vet has flushed them, but basically they’ve just told me it is what it is and I need to use a daily tear staining product. Because of her tear stains, the hair under her eyes tends to matte very quickly. This product loosens it within seconds.

Others have said that it takes a month to see results, but that's probably for dogs with lots of tear stain build up. If you have a pup that is starting to get tear stain, you will see results within days and their face will be pretty clean after just a week.Our pup doesn't seem to particularly hate getting her eyes cleaned, at least no more than other grooming tasks like nail cutting or brushing, so I'd say it's not an irritant for her.It works well and is a decent price, so we will be ordering more as needed.

Second time using it half the bottle dumped on the floor because the inner white cap flew off when squeezed. (Poorly designed) Have been using it about 8 days and still no results. Not sure if I would recommend.,,maybe it will get better , hoping so.

Gets rid of those sandy globs, nice odor and my dog doesn't mind it. That little bottle lasts a long, long time!

I have a beautiful white Pomeranian puppy, she developed dark tears stains. I always relied on Burt's Bees, and thought this would work. After 4 weeks and daily application, it hasn't made any difference at all. Now my baby has permanent dark stains on her white fur like someone took a Sharpie. The tears stains actually got worse. My vet said this is common with white dogs and not a medical condition. This product only made the stains appear darker when they were wet with the product, then, afterwards, I kept it on anyway hoping for the eventual 3-4 week turn around time as promised by the product. Very very disappointed that I should have used something else when I saw this wasn't working and now looks like the stains are tattooed on. She's such a beautiful girl, I'm so upset that about this! A total waste of money. Very angry that animal products are not regulated and anyone can make any promise at all. But's Bees should really be ashamed of themselves for making false claims.

My Maltipoo often has excessive eye discharge that clumps up quickly. If left for more than a day, it becomes very dry, hard, and difficult to remove. This product is excellent for cleaning this unsightly discharge. My puppy seems to love it too! It’s easy to use, doesn’t hurt his eyes, and delivers great results. Although I haven’t been using it for long or consistently, I can already see it starting to work on reducing tear stains also. Highly recommend!
