Walthers Trainline HO Scale Model Norfolk Southern Tank Car

Used this for a few weeks so far with zero derailments on multiple tracks...this is what I expect from Walther because all of their products have been fantastic so far. The tank car is a little on the light side, but the high quality metal wheels are very smooth and keep it glued between the rails.

Grandchildren loved the train.

These are my first tank cars for my first model train, and I bought both a Walthers and a Bachmann for comparison. You can see in my photos the Walthers cars have the plastic snap axels and Walthers uses screws. And the quality of the paint and the detail of the ladder are more generic on the Walthers car. The Walthers car also weighs less so it can be less stable as it travels the rail. That said the Bachmann cars are generally about $10 more than a Walthers. So, you should expect it to be a better build than Walthers. So if you want to save some money, these cars will do.

Ordered a couple of these to check out the quality as the price is very good. I received them in 2 days, and they look good and run good on the track. So far, I'd say they are a very good deal.
