Both movies were flawlessly transferred to 4K. I've watched them both a few times already. The fight sequences in both make you feel like you're immersed in the action.

Just wanted to come on here to comment that despite what the reviewer below stated. The digital codes for both Braveheart and Gladiator 4K worked for me when I redeemed them on Friday 10/11/2024. I went to the Paramount website listed on the download slip and was given the option of either Fandango or I-Tunes. I chose Fandango and had zero issues. I don't know if the previous reviewer entered in the wrong codes, used the wrong website for redemption or was unlucky and received a used DVD from Amazon that someone had already used the codes and then they sent the DVD back which Amazon rewrapped and resold. They have done that. I received a copy of Kill Bill Vol. 2 which was not factory sealed but crudely shrink-wrapped and rather then take the chance upon opening it that the digital code was either missing or used. I promptly returned it for a refund. I almost sent this DVD back after rereading th review that the digital codes didn't work. I'm glad I didn't. It does state that may expire after 2022 but when I redeemed them all was good.

You have to go to Paramount's site to redeem the codes and then you get your choice what service you want to redeem them to, Apple or Fandango. Each film has its own code and 4K blu ray disc.

Nice box set with a DVD wxtra on the making many years post-movie interviews on how the movie came about written by a distant decentant of the Wallace Clan in the USA!

To be honest, I hate the fact that we all end up buying version after version of our favorite songs and movies as formats improve. I wasn't really going to go back in time to re-buy these movies since I have BluRay versions tucked away somewhere in storage. I decided to give these a try. Yep, I'm in. 4K HDR discs beat streaming 4K HDR, but really not to a point where it's worth updating if you already own them. However, if you have favorite movies and a high-end sound and display system go to 4K HDR. Be mindful though that the transfer from the older formats to the newer format needs to be done by those that know what they are doing. Do your research. These are done well.
