Best scrub/mask by Skinfood
This is probably my favorite Skinfood mask. I have been a fan of the brand and their exfoliating masks for years now. Now, we all know that the whole "physical exfoliants are so bad for your skin" myth is not true. There was a point in time where it was so demonized, I was even ashamed to admit I used a face scrub. But truth be told, chemical exfoliants just do not work for me and I know others out there are the same way.Right now, it's winter where I live and it's VERY dry. So I can't use their sugar mask as that one can be a bit harsh for this time of year. This is why I love their rice mask, because it's still exfoliating but it's so much more gentle and it's brightening on top of that.If you have dehydrated skin or are new to physical exfoliants, I highly recommend this rice mask. I massage it into my skin, leave it on for 10 minutes, and then massage it again with warm water and rinse off. It's literally so gentle and it makes your skin soft and more even toned after use. When the weather is more normal, I tend to go for their sugar scrubs, with the strawberry one being my favorite. All of Skinfood's masks are fantastic and I recommend the brand to everyone I know.

Great skincare at an easy-to-love price!
This Rice Mask by Skin Food makes for a really nice introduction to the world of "K-Beauty" skincare! It's also inexpensive—less than one might spend on a quality drugstore product—and would perhaps make a nice gift for a young person who is just beginning to dip her toe into skincare. The instructions on the jar recommend massaging the product into the skin for 10–15 minutes, meaning it isn't so much a conventional "mask" as it is an emollient that is also mildly exfoliating. (More than one Amazon reviewer likened its texture, accurately I'd say, to "rice pudding.") It's definitely preferable to harsher, more abrasive exfoliation, which tend to do more harm than good on the skin.I purchased a full size jar of Skin Food's Rice Mask after being pleasantly surprised by a sample, and I've happily incorporated it into my weekly skincare routine. I like to apply it after toner and massage it into my face while I watch TV; I rinse it off after 10 or 15 minutes, then follow with Dr. Jart+ Dermaclear, just to make sure I haven't left any "rice pieces" or residue behind. I also like to follow it up with my usual serums and moisturizer.I have sensitive combination skin (lucky me!), which is susceptible to dry spots and flaking, redness, chapping, but also oiliness and occasional breakouts. After the mask, my skin is noticeably balanced, with a much-improved, "even" texture. My face is very subtly tightened, yet also moisturized (the product contains Jojoba oil!). Most important, the mask does not irritate my skin, which is no small feat! I'm in my mid-30s and, even though I suspect this product is intended for a slightly younger crowd, I really like the effect it has on my just-starting-to-age skin. (I think some reviewers have mistaken "tightening" for "drying"; the slightly-tightened skin is the best part!)The only downside, I think, is the product's very strong artificial scent. The fragrance is pleasant enough—bright and clean, almost identical to the fragrance of Lioele's Waterdrop Sleeping Pack—but those of you who are sensitive to fragrance might want to give this one a hard pass.It also contains parabens—that's a problem for me, and I've docked what WOULD be a five-star product accordingly—but I only use the mask once or twice a week, and it's inexpensive. Tough to beat that.

Pretty average product
Feels dry after using the product. It has a cooling effect. But other than that, I don't feel much difference in my skin.

Part of my bedtime routine now!
I recently tried the SKINFOOD Mask Rice 120g and I am blown away by the results! This product is truly a game changer when it comes to exfoliating scrubs. Not only does it effectively remove dead skin cells and impurities, but it also leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth. One of the things I love about this product is that it is made with white rice, which is known for its brightening and softening properties. As someone with darkened skin, I have noticed a significant improvement in the overall tone and texture of my skin after using this mask. It has even helped to reduce the appearance of pores and leave my skin looking more radiant. The application process is simple and the mask has a pleasant scent. It is gentle on the skin and does not cause any irritation or redness. I also appreciate that it is safe for both men and women, making it a versatile product for everyone to use. It has has helped to soften and smooth my skin. It truly is a multi-purpose product that delivers amazing results. Plus, the 4.05 oz size is generous and will last me for a while.Overall, I highly recommend the SKINFOOD Mask Rice 120g to anyone looking for an effective exfoliating scrub that is also gentle and nourishing for the skin. It's a must-have in my skincare routine and I can't wait to see even more improvements in my skin with continued use. Thank you, SKINFOOD, for this amazing product! It definitely deserves a 5-star rating.

Moisturizing
Doesn't smell bad and very moisturizing. Didn't really see a difference in terms of brightness however.
