"Off-Label" use for this garlic press
This tool is perfect for juicing key limes, which are notoriously difficult to squeeze. Efficient and effective, and the size seems made to order to fit 1/2 a key lime. I pushed the rind out with an unbent paper clip. Easy to clean. Be sure to zest your limes first, because the press reduces the rind to a flat disc.

Super helpful gadget to have!
Great product for the price! Well made and durable. It takes just minimal effort to crush garlic. The garlic sleeve peeler that comes with it is outstanding! You can peel multiple cloves of garlic in just seconds.

Great presser, recommended cleaner
This is a very good garlic presser. The cleaning brush that came with is not very effective, but I won’t take stars away from this. I simply swapped it for a steel wired brush about the size of a toothbrush. Works great! You can get them at Home Depot, Lowes. Amazon has one that looks exactly like mine- Amazon Basics Stainless Steel Mini Brushes, Soft Grip, 3-Pack for around $4.

I am becoming “not a bad chef” as people tell me now. This press works great and truly allows for fresh garlic to be added to my “creations”. I recommend it highly and I like the silicone sleeve that quickly separates a clove from its skin. Works great too. I’d give it a 5 IF it did all the work but one star for me! LOL

Larger bowl is an ordinary size
"larger bowl" doesn't begin to qualify as large. It's interior is a one inch diameter. That's essentially a very common, ordinary size. It's a nice enough ordinary press, but we were looking to replace one purchased at a kitchen store in the 90's that finally broke. It had a bowl of at least 1.5 inches in diameter.Based on the larger bowl size, the "large" must be a thimble.
