Dynarex Vitamins A & D Ointment, Ointment with Vitamin A and Vitamin D Skin Protectant, for Diaper Rash and Discomfort, White, 15 oz Jar

I have been using A & D Ointment since my kids were babies. They're now 31 and 26. I used it on them for diaper rashes, cuts and scrapes, and other little boo boos. Now I use it for myself. I just got two more tattoos last week and I always use A & D on fresh tats to keep them moisturized and from getting infected. I was out so I went to buy more and saw this tuboif Dynarex A & D ointment for a great price. Checking over the ingredients, they were essentially the same as the name brand and the price was great so I got it.It's been a week now and my tattoos have healed with no scabbing at all and only one day of extremely mild peeling. This product is thick and like Vaseline but has Vitamins A and D to help ward off infections., It's good on minor cuts and scrapes on people of all ages and can be used on the lips to hydrate them. I know people who use this on their face and hands to lock in moisture. It's also good for diaper rashes or for elder care uses.This big 15 ounce tube seemed like overkill when I bought it but the price was so good that I couldn't pass it up. I opened just a finger size hole in the protective foil seal so the product doesn't get contaminated and have used it liberally. I will be having several touch ups and one major cover up of a tattoo next week and in the coming weeks so I will certainly get a lot of use out of this big tub. A & D is the only thing I use on fresh tattoos. It's better for me than Tattoo Goo which surprised me. This brand has very little odor and is so thick that only a small amount is needed. It's versatile and affordable. My tattoos look great and I have never had an infection nor have I ever scabbed over and I have a number of tattoos which all were touched up and worked on at least once after they were healed. (I am perfectionist so I inevitably want to add to the original tattoo...) I see zero difference in quality and performance between this brand and the bigger name brand.I'm very happy with the performance and price of Dynarex A & D and will keep purchasing it.

This really is a great product! It leaves your lips so soft and smooth! For some reason my almost 4 year old has just recently started to either suck on his lips or lick them a lot while it's chilly out. Like any other product for chapped lips you have to apply it a few times, especially during the daytime. But, put it on semi thick at night and in the morning his poor little lips were just fine again. I put it everywhere lol. After my shower, with the cold weather here (I live in NW Pennsylvania) I apply it just about everywhere. My legs and feet (I put it thick on the feet then cover with socks), my elbows, and face. When I wake up in the AM my feet are definitely soft! My skin doesn't dry out like it used to. We use electric heaters and those dry out skin right out. The amount you get for the price you pay (which is very cheap) is incredible! I mean for the A & D name brand you only get two 4oz tubes for the same price as you pay for this TUB! (I don't have it on hand and don't wanna back outta my review) But I believe you get 15oz in this tub. Try it for yourself and see how great it works!!!

The product arrived in perfect condition, well packaged and on time. It’s clearly good quality and works just as expected. I’m very satisfied with the purchase and would definitely recommend it.

Any one with babies knows how necessary( and pricey) A&D ointment. This works well for protecting my little one's skin between diaper changes. I even use it to prevent chapped lips and skin in cold weather. Great value!

Great for folks who have the fatboy’s apron belly curse, or other such issues in a hot or humid climate.

So as a kid I was severely sun burned several times. Like to the point I had to stay in a dark room for a months and a half. Which ended up damaging my skin on my face and head. Making it very, very dry. Had tried looking for something to help. Lotions didn't. Even expensive ones. Tried aloe vera. That didn't either. So, I tried A&D about 10yrs back. Amd it actually works well! I just apply some on my face and head after showering and scrubbing. And then let it sit for about 10mins. Then take a few paper towels. And pat over my face and head. Like pat drying. To get the excess A&D off my face and head. Then my skin looks softer/smoother for a few days. Then just repeat the cycle. Of course it works for rashes, tattoo's etc..But I wanted to let anyone else with really dry/damaged skin, know that A&D works wonders in helping your skin be softer, smoother and not dry/flaking.
