Amazing outdoor clothing, durable, versatile, great for outdoor work
I bought these for gardening and I am super impressed. The quality of the fabric is solid and durable, tight knit to keep the cold out while not being tight in itself to remain comfortable. The waist is a perfect fit that aligns with your body, unlike other clothing that creates a bit of baggyness around the hip/ bottom area, these do not.Belt loops are solid and haven't freyed at all, I use a tactical pouch attached to my belt in these trousers and it keeps form, doesn't become lose, frey, or stretch the loops. In terms of washing, I have washed these a lot since the 6 months after I purchased (once a week) and the colour is almost unchangeable (bought a smaller pair as I have lost weight, colour was almost the same). The placement of the pockets is perfect for gardening as the way they are angled means you can keep tools in your side pockets and they don't become squeezed when kneeling down etc, they are at the side for easy use, which makes them great for myself as I can pull tools out when needed, with no hassle. There is also a safety hook above 1 pocket, which I personally use for keys, the placement of this hook is great as it is just above the pocket, meaning you can attach something here for quick use while keeping in protected. The trousers are also lined in some pockets with mesh. This is a strong sturdy mesh, that again hasn't fryed or created larger broken holes in the mesh with use. Still as good as day one. This also helps with breathability, which is great if you're active outside. The only downside I have noticed is they are a little on the expensive side, but you do get a quality product for the price.(I use these trousers over the other 2 pairs I bought when I set up my business, I haven't even worn the other 2 pairs as they are no where near the build quality and comfort as these).Final remark is if you're a hiker, you may want something a bit lighter as these are on the heavier side (again good for paintballing etc as offers extra protection).Overall I would highly recommend these pants for their durability, quality build, comfort, and good weight, as they really do do their job and are an amazing pair for outside related activities.

Variable quality and styles - Take your chances.
I ordered these in 34 and 36 to replace a pair of 97% cotton, 3%spandex which I bought two years ago and which have served me well (both in UK and Southern Africa). The 34s were almost identical to my old pair (albeit a size smaller but similar fit). The thigh pockets are 1/2” shallower which is a pain as my phone doesn’t fit as well as in my old trousers but, on the whole, they are sturdy and robust…Less so the 36” waist ones which were part of the same order. These turned up as 67% polyester ripstop, about half the weight/thickness of the 34s. They were also the ‘latter’ design with the virtually useless right leg mini pocket. Having used the 97% cotton ones in the bush I am certain that the thinner ripstop material wouldn’t last a day. It’s not helpful that the product description changes between the main page and the basket (the sales site describes them as “Outdoor Cargo Work Trousers Ripstop Military Tactical Combat Pants” but the become “Outdoor Cargo Work Trousers Cotton Military Tactical Combat Pants” in the basket and feedback pages.Buyer beware! If you get the ‘former’ (cotton) style you could have yourself a decent set of tactical trousers. If you get the ripstop ones you’re better off going to war in pyjama bottoms.

Lots of pockets!
These pants fit me really well. I took heed of others' comments and ordered size 40 although I'm usually 38. Yes, they are on the small side so order a size larger than you normally do.The fabric has a slight stretch so it does give a little in tight areas. I like the extra reinforcing over the knees. If I had to make one tiny complaint, it's that the legs are quite a slim fit. I walk a lot and my leg muscles are well-developed, making the pants feel a bit tight on my legs -- I prefer a looser fit in that area.As the title says, there's LOTS of pockets! I have no trouble carrying all my stuff, including my mobile phone, coin purse, masks, hand sanitiser, car keys, digital recorder, mini-flashlight, earbuds, and tissue pack -- all in their own dedicated pockets. There's a couple of triangular plastic tethers hanging on either side, handy for clipping keys and other items. However, they are attached via fabric loops that are not stitched very securely so avoid too much strain. I made the mistake of hitching my dog's leash to one of these loops and he very quickly pulled it loose!I've been wearing (and washing) these pants regularly for over 6 months and they still look as good as new. I think I need to buy more as a backup supply.

Excellent quality but are short on the legs.
There’s so much to rave about these combats. They are comfortable, they stretch pretty well and I didn’t get to hot while at airsoft. The quality is very very good. Now for the 1 bad point. The sizes are small. I’m a 33 waist and firstly purchased a 34” which was like a 31” waist and super short Michael Jackson would be jealous!Sent back and ordered a 36” - These fit perfectly but we’re still a little short. Really frustrating but I kept them and will get some to adjust the hem eventually.I’m 6ft tall so if your the same or taller these might not have the leg length for you.Haven’t added my weight as who uses Ib’s for measurements! I’m about 80kg

Good value trousers - well made
I purchased these as a lightweight pair of trousers to use for fieldsports in the UK. The fabric is lightweight but still feels rugged enough to resist most undergrowth/nettles and hopefully stand up to brambles too. There's a good array of pockets in all the right places. I particularly like the solid fly button and the slight stretch in the fabric which is v comfortable. Seems like very good value. The sizing is slightly on the small side. I'm a 33" (which they don't make) so bought a 32" on the basis that there should be some give. It was definitely too tight so I returned and received a 34" a week later which fits perfectly. Will update my review once I've had a chance to test in the field.
