great gloves
very soft to the touch when new. i thought they would wear out easily but ive cut and moved 10+ trees with them now and they have held up great. Not my first glove by lamont and they are just as impressive as my other pair.

Gloves
I usually order multiple sets of these gloves at a time. As a heavy equipment mechanic I use these anywhere from stick welding to using a cutting torch and undercarriage work.

works decent on barbed wire. expect to get poked though
I have been using these on bekaert gaucho barb wire. They hold up, but the sharp gaucho barbs will go through when pulling and wrapping the wire. they hold up well though. these will last 2 or 3 weeks, when the more protective gloves may last 1 or 2. (but I don't get poked).I think they would work better on red brand, since the barbs are less sharp.(gaucho wire sucks to work with, but it's half the price)they are comforterable, and work well for the most part. the stitching doesn't get caught by the barbs.

Waste of Money
I bought these name brand gloves because I already owned an insulated pair for the winter from Wells Lamont which is holding up very well. However, these gloves fell apart after only a few times of (light) yardwork and after only three months. The left glove developed multiple holes for no apparent reason (see attached photo), so the gloves are useless at this point and were a waste of money for me. Based on my experience, I would not recommend or buy these gloves (or this brand) again.
