This is a really cool product and looks very useful as you can just hang it on your bag. Since I travel a lot I thought it would be very useful.The reason why I don't like and would not recommend is because It's definitely small and at least for me it only sufficient for 1-time drink. Does not look very finished product very rubbery. And it has a really bad smell. I would have returned it if I had not thrown away the packaging.

Bought 2 Hydaways with the cap lid for my young sons to take on vacation. There is a removable silicone ring under the lid (both spout and cap style), which keeps the bottle from leaking. I had to tell my kids to keep track of the ring when they removed the caps to fill their bottles or drink. They are both under the age of 10, so of course, they didn't always remember, and we ended up searching the rental car for a lost ring a couple of times. Why the separate ring in the first place? I bought a spout lid Hydaway, and it has the same loose ring, but at least you don't have to take the cap off every time to drink. Wish I could buy 2 more spout lids for the boys' bottles.

Once you get the smell out, this is a fabulous water bottle. The spout doesn’t drip when closed and has a nice flow when you drink out of it. The bottle collapses and pops out easily. It holds enough for a yoga class, a medium hike, or when I just need a glass of water. I lost my Que bottle that I loved because it was a challenge to carry around. This folds down so I can store it away, or I can use the handle/clip to keep it with me.

I've been using Hydaway products for a long time-I purchase them on a regular basis (either friends don't return them or it gets stolen by airport security). They're well manufactured, sturdy, come in a variety of colors, are collapsible with a built in sipper. A case is included. It's my goto beverage container (water, juices) that I store both in my backpack & luggage.RECOMMEND: buy a few, I do.

The bottle seem leak proof on testing them. You will need a little bit of a nail to pop up the sip top. The top has a small plastic carry handle that folds down. I bought both the blue ocean wave and sunset orange. The blue has great variation with white wisps but the orange barely any variation with lighter orange wisps. In person, the picture on ocean wave blue case is nice; on the sunset orange it’s ok with blurred lettering.Can see using them in airport after going thru security and also on a plane instead of easily spilled glass of water or another cold beverage. Best used for drink then collapse since obviously not insulated.Haven’t used with Carabiner yet. In checking reviews the biggest complaint is that the elastic hook breaks easily and soon. It is a small think piece of elastic-Poorly designed for the purpose. If elastic breaks as soon as others say, I’ll deduct a star since hanging on a backpack or other items is intended and advertised use. Pricey item.

I had another collapsible water bottle that was clumsy to hold, the water tasted terrible, and it was impossible to clean. I hate buying single use plastics so I thought I would give the Hydaway a try. It is wonderful! The water tastes fine, the bottle is easy to clean, and full or empty, it is easy to handle. It doesn’t leak a bit! I can put ice cubes in it! How great is that? I thought I would use it for travel but it goes everywhere with me now.

My wife and I travel all the time. We like to have the water bottle collapsed until we go through the security at the airport, fill by the water fountains, and then re-collapse the bottle after the water is gone. The clip it came with was not very sturdy, but we replaced it with one we had laying around so now it works great.

Love how portable this bottle is and that’s it’s made from silicone rather than plastic. The flip-side is that it’s not very sturdy so it’s harder to drink from when it’s not full, the water is harder to get to and if you squeeze it the bottle collapses or squirts.I will keep it because it’s so light and easy to carry anywhere.
