Old Amsterdam Premium Aged Gouda, 12 oz

People all know what gouda cheese is, but few know about aged gouda. If you like aged cheddar, you'll love this too. Serve it on a warmed, crisp baguette with a bit of butter.

I ordered 2 pieces of Old Amsterdam cheese. One was fine but the other was just vacuum-sealed crumbled bits of the cheese, with a bunch of the waxed rind mixed in. The piece didn't break apart in transit, it was packaged this way! I wrote (with images) to ask for a replacement but no reply. I guess they think they can have a successful business with only one-time customers. Caveat emptor.

The cheese was great, but the freight cost was more that the cost of the product and that was not disclosed at the time of ordering.

Worth the extra money.
