Go with you shoe size!
I bought these colorful compression socks with my fingers crossed. Although I wear a size 7 shoe (S/M sock size), my calves measure about 17" (L/XL sock size). Totally the right choice to go with the S/M size!! I put a pair on this morning for the first time. They slid on easily, just like ordinary socks. They do not bind anywhere on the leg. And although the very top of the band does leave a slight indentation mark just below the knee, the socks do not feel tight at all. I am about to go on a 2-week trip and hated the idea of wearing the same boring pair of compression socks every single day. Now, I have something fun to mix it up! Very satisfied. Socks delivered quickly. They come in this cute zipper pouch that I'll no doubt find another use for . . . even if it is just to hold the dirty socks during the trip : )

I prefer these over other compression socks I own
My family teases that I collect compression socks, but truthfully I have dozens of pairs and have a good idea of what's available on the market. I have nerve damage that affects my feet and calves both muscularly and with nerve pain. I bought a striped 3 pack size XL. I love the colors and the compression. I get compliments on the colors. I'm 6'-2" tall and wear men's 11.5-12m shoe and have muscular, but not large, calves. The xl socks fit my foot fine but are close to their max stretch. These might be uncomfortable for anyone with large calves or foot larger than men's 12 shoe. My wife does not have large calves and wears women's size 8 shoe but found these size xl more comfortable for her than the recommended size and the foot fits her well enough to be comfortable. Of course, she gets less compression from them than I do.My only dislikes are that they are difficult to pull over my heel and the collar/cuffs on the top of the socks is very tight, not quite enough stretch so it pinches a little just below my knee but only until the socks relax a little. They're more difficult to pull on than other comp socks I have of the same compression.I DO LIKE the feel of the breathable fabric of these socks. The fabric up the front of the socks has sort of perforated vented weave which is very breathable, cooling and soothing and is still attractive and durable. There is a line up the back of the sock that isn't a seam but looks like it. I don't know what its purpose is? Maybe how it's woven? Overall these appear well made and durable. The fabric is thick for a compression sock of this price. The compression does feel good and gives relief to my Raynauds, circulation, neuropathy and calf cramps. They make a major difference than without them! They also wick moisture well and for me are low odor. I wear these daily, all day, on walks and hikes, too, and usually sleep in them. I'd consider these athletic grade and thickness compares to light/medium medical grade. Hopefully they hold up to daily use.Lastly, machine wash cold or warm and either don't machine dry or dry on delicate cycle. On warmer drying they'll shrink and become even tighter. This happened to a pair of my wife's.With all that said, I like them and they seem to be a good value and do what I need them to do. I prefer these over many of my other compression socks. I'll probably buy another set. I hope these work for you.

No more swelling or heaviness!
Love these socks!! I recently had to start wearing compression socks due to varicose veins and blood clots in my legs. They have come a LONG way from the ugly white, nude, or black stockings my mom had to wear. With these socks I can be on my feet all day without pain, throbbing, or heaviness. At first I thought I’d only wear these occasionally, but now these are the only socks I wear because it makes such a difference in my pain level and swelling. I do think these aren’t quite as tight as the 20-30mmHg ones I got from my doctor - these feel more like 15-20mmHg - but I find these way more comfortable to wear all day. I love the wide variety of designs available and they are much less expensive than those offered through my doctor’s office. Even if they do wind up wearing out quicker, the price makes them a much better deal.

Cute and comfy.**edit**
These socks are super cute and comfy. They are tight but they are compression socks, so I expected that. They are not overly tight or pinchy tight. Didn't roll down after a quick wear of them. The pattern on them are super cute, I don't feel like I'm wearing medical socks or older people socks.**Edit. I purchased the skull design socks and due to the different sewing method to make these socks the skull socks are too small in the calf area and I can not pull them all the way up. The stripe design fit because the thread is died and there is new extra sewing needed. I would have loved to keep buying the different designs but I might just stick with the ones I have.****After 8 hours of wear at work there is some slipping down but only about a half an inch down from where they were. Nothing extreme like to my ankle.

Cheap compression impostor.
HOW does this sock have good reviews?! First, the toe seam is so poorly and thinly stitched, it will undoubtedly develop holes in a matter of a few wears. Second, the toe box is so oddly shaped, it leaves points sticking out on either side of the toes. The foot material is thin and slippery - I am sliding around inside my shoes today and they squeak every time I take a step. When stretched, the colors of the socks become distorted, as the base color (white or black) shows through. They were a beast to get on, but once on it is clear they aren't true compression (especially not 20-30 mmHg.) Sorry, but tight does NOT equal compression. True compression wear is graduated, 100% at the ankle, about 70% halfway up the garment, and 20-30% at the top. If anything, these are the opposite, tighter at the top than the bottom. All that being said, I bought them because I am pregnant and am having trouble with aches, and swelling, and developing varicose veins. I probably should have returned these, but I figure SOMETHING is better than nothing, so I kept them and am wearing them until my true (very old lady-ish) compression gear arrives. I CAN tell a bit of difference between my calves, covered in the socks, and my thighs, not covered in the socks. My calves don't hurt as much as my thighs, and not as much as usual. Imagine how good I might feel if I had been given what I paid for!

Compression socks without looking like compression socks
Firm compression (if in doubt, size up) along the calf, loose enough in the toes to be comfortable and the top band isn't too tight. I wore them all day without any issue. They work well for my POTS. And the best part is, they don't really look like compression socks.

Great alternative to expensive rX
I was skeptical but these socks do the same work that my $90 prescription socks do. These are also a bit of a thicker weave- which is much nicer. I get runs and holes in my other ones. Highly recommend.

Inexpensive, good quality
Good quality for the price, I have been using it for 3 months and the compression is still good. I’m working 12hr shifts as a nurse and using these socks makes my legs feel less tired at the end of the day.

Well fitted and wear well
Have worn these for months and they wear and still fit great. Very well fitted soIf close to the top end of a size, I’d go up in size.
