I put these on the little teeny quilted jelly jars and they are great! I've had Tupperware shaker containers that I frankly hated, narrow at the base and, with the shaker top on, too tippy. These do not have that problem. The only problem is that you need two hands, one to hold it and one to remove the cover, and I never remember that in time, but I can learn

My package had a check mark on it like it had been returned. One of the tops were missing.

In my pack, there were some that were too tight, and some that were too loose. They do not keep a totally perfect seal, but they get the job done well enough. My biggest complaint with these is that the holes on the top, the ones that you pour through, are too small, and often times won't allow any liquid to pass through at all, making pouring very difficult. All in all though I like the aesthetic of these, just wish they were a tad bit more functional, still cool though!

These fit Ball pint canning jars perfectly. And, the little cap to cover the holes fits the base well, and is easy to, securely, put on and remove (some reviews I read before purchasing said this wasn't the case). I'm using these for fairly fine powders/granules, and the size of the holes is perfect. For coarser material, the holes might need to be reamed out with a drill to a larger size. The manufacturer chose the size of the holes well, since easy to make larger by the customer, and impossible to make smaller. I've already used all four, and am considering buying an additional set.

I was somewhat disappointed with the size of the openings of the holes in the lid. It works great for cinnamon sugar, for example, but not at all good for something such as grated Parmesan cheese. I still have two sets of the shaker lids that I cannot find a use for.

The caps are far too tight fitting and give troubles unscrewing the entire thing trying to luft them off to get to the shaker underneath. I just set them on without really capping them. I live the concept, however, the shaker holes are for fine powders, not my wonderful rustic herbs and spices blends. I make due because I really like the way they look.

The tops are so off kilter they do not even fit on two of the screw-on units which is not an issue if you do not need them. None of the tops seem to seal in the package I received. The bases screw on jars very nicely and if that is what you're after I would recommend them, if you don't need them to be airtight and just set the tops on them that is fine too. But on all that I received it is not easy to remove the topper if I have pressed it on. And as I stated, two of the tops won't fit all the way down though they look round enough. Nice for something, but the top is just to keep the dust off and not practical otherwise.

I wanted these tops to use on mason jars for cocktails, everyone of the lids leak and spilled the drink.
