Fable & Mane Shine Hair Mask, Boosts Shine, Tames Frizz and Enhances Colour with Black Tea. 3-Minute, Chai-scented, Hair Gloss Treatment

I was hoping this mask would help with my highly processed and sometimes very dry hair. I am a huge fan of this brand and love their detangling leave-in, which I used with this mask after towel drying. The mask itself feels very thick and luxurious, and it melted nicely into my wet hair. I followed the instructions and rinsed after three minutes. The end result: my hair felt good and somewhat silky, but I didn’t notice any additional shine or brilliance. The fragrance was strong and it filled my shower with the scent of breakfast tea, which is a little different scent than when it is in the container. It smells more like a chai tea before application. After rinsing there was no residual fragrance, which is good because I use their other product on towel dried hair which has a lovely scent, and I was relieved that I wasn’t headed for a sensory overload. I really liked this mask, but the results weren't ideal for my overly processed hair. I will keep using it to see if after a couple of times I get a better result for my hair, and I will also leave it on for five minutes next time to see if that helps my situation. I definitely think that if you have hair that is not processed or minimally processed you will see excellent results.

I have medium straight shoulder length hair. I colored it for years but am now letting it grow out. Unfortunately I have had issues with dryness, tangles, flyaways and breakage. This conditioning gloss has done a great job of helping with those issues.It doesn't take a lot of product to coat my hair. It distributes well, and really latches onto my strands. It detangles really well and I've noticed less shedding after rinsing it out. It is a bit watery though, and not very thick like a traditional conditioner. So you have to be mindful scooping it out. My hair does feel softer and looks somewhat shinier after use - though because of my color damaged, I don't know how shiny it could make those areas. But the important thing is that my hair does feel better after use! I also like the smell. My husband said it's medicinal, but I'm catching the chai notes moreso.Overall I think it's a really good product. It's a bit runny, but it smells good and doesn't take a lot of product to work for me. I think it's a good value for the price.

Fable & Mane's Shine Hair Mask is the only conditioner that I use now. I usually buy from Sephora, but the one on Amazon is authentic as well. I have waist length, straight, dark brunette hair that I dye a few shades darker than my natural color, and my hair just loves this product. I usually wash my hair every 2-3 days, and I definitely notice when I've run out of this mask because my hair tangles easily without it and I have more flyaways. This smooths my hair without weighing it down (and most products do weigh my hair down and make it look greasy), so it does appear shinier, but mostly I love how soft this makes my hair and how well it detangles and keeps my hair from tangling even after it's dry. I was worried about the chai scent, but it really does smell like a cup of chai tea (not just dry spices), and the scent disappears after my hair dries. I'm sensitive to fragrance and can't use most hair products because of the heavy fragrances, but this product doesn't bother me. It's my holy grail hair conditioner.

I really like this Fable & Mane Shine Hair Mask! It smells incredible and it left my hair shiny and soft. I used it after shampooing with Fable's volumizing shampoo - the mask is relatively thin but it does a great job of working through all of my hair and staying put while I let it work - its not drippy or hard to work with, it spread evenly and completely. It smells like chai! Its not overwhelming, it smells so good while using it and it leaves my hair smelling amazing after its dried and styled. This is a great deep conditioner and detangler! I just cut my hair and loved it on my long hair for leaving it shiny and healthy but was worried it might weight down my shorter hair, but it’s still great! It fights the frizz, leaves it soft, and smells just like a cup of chai tea, but somehow isn’t too overwhelming. I just put it on after I wash my hair and leave it while I wash my body and face, and it’s the perfect amount of time and so easy to use.

I love this hair mask. I have medium long and thick hair but have colored it for years. Too many masks leave a heavy feeling, and with thick hair, it feels like it just pulls or weights a lot more. This mask tames my frizzies down, leave a nice shine but does not leave my hair with a thick greasy feeling on it. It has a scent but it is not overpowering and definitely not the fake cheap flowery scent. It is a more earthy tea scent that is very nice but it also does not linger. The mask leave my hair moist and shiny and seems to last a long time. This is my new go-to hair mask.
