Purchased this to handle the combination rear disc/parking brake mechanism. The unit was sold as new but there was some dirt in the case where some of the adapters had been placed. Not the end of the world for sure. There were no signs of wear on the screw mechanisms.As others have mentioned, there is no instruction pamphlet - but you're going to fit the adapter plate to the caliper anyway, I don't see this as a big deal. I was going to take off one star for the clean/not clean issue, but I just can't. I've been very happy with the tool, I've done 4 brake jobs in two weeks! This tool even had the guts to free a frozen caliper, I was very impressed! I highly recommend this product.

I bought the 18-piece kit to be sure I had all of the attachments I would ever need. This kit is compact and all-inclusive. The only thing missing were instructions on how to use the pressure plate (I'll figure that out at some point) for non-screw type calipers.All in all a great value and easy to use. Well built and sturdy - on its first use we had some tough calipers to push, and it handled it with ease. If you are working newer back brake calipers that require twisting to compress, this is the kit.

I purchased this set for less than $20. I figured for the price it was worth getting than getting a similar item on loan from the auto parts store. Nice to have around. If the set was $100 I would just loan them from the auto parts store since I am not a mechanic. For changing a brakes on a couple of cars every couple of years, it is nice to have them.

There was an issue with the original kit as the RH screw did not fit the mounting plate. Fortunately this did not impact the job and I was able to push back the piston on my Mustang GT with the LH screw/plate. This tool made it very easy to do since I needed to compress and turn at the same time. Although the first tool was not 100%, I contacted Amazon customer service and a new set was delivered which has no issues. 5 stars it is.

Used M adapter on 2014 Ford Escape rear calipers. Having the right tool makes life easier.

Cheaper and less of a hassle to buy this than to rent the other products they make. Went threw 4 broken kits and hours of suffering not having the right part. God bless you for selling this online. Would recommend to anyone doing brakes with the pistons that turn in.

These worked well for my volkswagen. It's better to use the correct tools than try and fix something the wrong way and pay more later. Great value for the money, and the plastic storage case the caliper tools come in is a plus for keeping things organized. Highly recommended.

No instructions and a little tricky to use, but does the job.
