It's easy to use and really serves a purpose for safety. I wear it while walking our daughters dogs at night. It makes us feel safer.

Great for walking the dog, now I can see poo in the dark to pick up.

Works great but could use more L.E.D 's instead of only 5 and a small edge under the lights so as not to get a backslash from the lights easy to modify and by adding more LED's will give more light out

Bought this for husband. He used to have this style as a kid and wanted another for camping.The battery casing slides out alot when your not wearing it but it's not a major issue when hats worn. Lights work great, SUPER BRIGHT!!The camo one isnt actually cotton btw. That was problem for my husband. He's not a fan of synthetic materials. The hats coloring is the same in the pictures tho, so at least there's that?

item is exactly as described and works well so far (been out on several walks with it). The only drawback is what I would call a minor design flaw. But: for all I know, all these LED-lighted hats are the same, and it may just be me who notices this: The issue is that when it's very dark and you switch on the light, the LEDs are positioned such that part of the light from them shines downward from the lights into your eyes. It has to do with the geometry of the little LEDs--the transparent emission part of them emits a little bit of light in all directions, aside from the directed light that comes out of the tip. So it feels a little like how it feels when the sun is beaming down on you on a bright day--your peripheral vision picks up the direct sunlight slightly, and it's distracting. I really want all the LED light directed away from my eyes. Anyway it's a relatively minor design flaw but I do notice it. Otherwise I'm very happy with the purchase.

It’s fine, it’s worth $12 or whatever the price is around. The hat is very large, functional for camping etc, light is slightly off center but doesn’t bother my kid.

Cap looks good, slightly messy around the LED part, thus the loss of a star. In general working in dark and sometimes dusty conditions, this will offer additional (white) light to see the work area good for plumbers and electricians who constantly work in dark areas, while the cap can help shield the eyes from falling particles from drilling into the ceiling.Looks smart and presentable and can look like part of the uniform.Build: 4/5Ease of use: 5/5Battery life: 5/5Overall I would say this cap is comfy with a Velcro strap. Lights up the work area and is bright enough to use in a pitch black environment. Can be used also for additional lighting and you are able to see where and what you are working on.

Liked the design and thought the quality was okay when it arrived... nearly 12 months on now and its been through the winter and spring weather, the LED light unit doesn't function too well anymore and the top section of the hat has lost its shape.It did its job by keeping my head dry but when used for a few hours (delivery driver, in and out of van) the rain got through... sprayed with a water repellant helped.UPDATE 4/11/2019 - bought a second hat to replace the first one. LEDs finally stopped working even after changing the batteries. I've sprayed the cap with a waterproofing agent on receipt so that it helps to repel rain from the get go.

Theoretically a clever design. User friendly cap peak button and sensible level of light to find your way. Battery compartment switch is a good idea, but cheap component that is not confidence inspiring in use. Worst aspect - cable connector is loose so creates intermittent fault - if the light goes off I need to “wobble” the cable.Good idea, poorly executed

Well made, very bright, it literally is a cap with a bright light.Bought a beanie with a light for Dog walking, but now it's getting warm in the mornings i wanted something lighter this is perfect!!! I'm still hands free and very bright. Would highly recommend!! 😁.HAD TO BUY another one!!! Husband nicked my first one in this review so had to order another. Arrived in 2 days and is like the other one perfect. Good help him if he takes this one off me! 😠

I love this cap as it means I can see in the dark. The light is enough to light up the path or to find my seat in the cinema without disturbing others etc. I’ve had many compliments on it and the fact that it uses USB is brilliant as it’s far better, cheaper and more reliable than button batteries.The only negative is that it would be better if the cap was a neater design that wasn’t so long at the sides which rub on my ears and didn’t have the bobble on the top.
