Really nice comfortable item with good quality stays with metal clips and adjusters. Easy to adjust. Its deeper than some suspender belts - quite a full design with wider than usual straps. This is my 2nd purchase, the first I had for many years with no complaints or problems. They are still useable but the plastic parts have started to yellow and they look a little tired from so many washes. I was happy to see them still available.

Being male i have slim hips. Size 12/14 belts always end up slipping down too low because i don't have the hips to resist gravity and the inevitable downwards pull of stretchy hosiery - you know what i mean girls (don't you just hate it when the crotch of tights is 6" lower than your own).Also the clips can be fixed in place by their metal grips, so these shouldn't head south either.So though my waist size is 34" i opted for the size small, and it stretches to fit, and is (hopefully) just tight enough to stop at my hip bones.Haven't tried with stockings or "holdups" yet so will edit this when i have.Update: Very impressed! The belt does not slip or is pulled down, and it is also comfortable - i don't know i'm wearing it!The metal clasps work perfectly - no more slipping adjusters.Adjustment while wearing is a little tricky though - the straps can detach from the clip and have to be fed back through.So its best to leave the adjusters alone once you have got it to your liking.

One of the problems with many suspender belts is that the suspender clasps are made from plastic and break all too easily. Those fitted on this suspender belt are metal. They fit well and are easy to adjust. The belt itself is nicely made and quite pretty. Overall, a good buy.

The suspender straps are not sewn in. As a result when the length is adjusted the strap falls out of the buckle - very inconvenient and clearly why the price is at first so apparently attractive. You have to solve this deficiency yourself. I have just discovered that the problem was that the toothed clasp adjusters were put in upside-down and the wrong way round when made; that is why they could not be sewn in. If you invert the clasp adjusters and turn them around the elastic can be sewn normally around the bar intended for that purpose; they then slide as normal to adjust.

These look vintage which I love. They are really comfortable to wear and they don't slip down from your waist.

I bought this after another purchase had the cheaper toggles fail. These metal ones seems the job. They attach very easily. I bought the XXL and it goes around my chubby belly a treat. I've not worn it out yet but the signs are good. Update: so impressed I've bought the white version as well. The metal toggles have stayed attached even after many hours unlike the cheaper, rubbery ones I've bought.
