Bulldog Black Molded Leather Belt Slide Holster

Bought this in size Small for a Bersa Thunder, which is a bit of an oddly proportioned gun. It fits snugly and is very low profile but it's not exactly the right cut for the Bersa specifically. The trigger isn't completely covered by the holster, which isn't necessarily the holsters fault since the Bersa has a large trigger guard and is on the large side for a compact pistol.If you've got something smaller like a PPK, LCP, Bodyguard or similar it should fit great. For something larger like an LC9 or Shield you'll probably want the medium. If you've got a Bersa Thunder like me, it gets the job done as long as you take into account the trigger coverage.

I've been carrying it for 3 years and haven't found a pancake holster I liked more than this one for my Taurus G2c. Highly recommended.

I bought one, size L, for my Taurus 1911, .45 ACP, trooper model, and needed to do minor surgery on it to prevent part of the holster from impinging upon the magazine release, thus dropping the mag. No big deal, there.I was pleasantly surprised when the Taurus GX4, 9mm, I just bought, also fit perfectly. I bought a second, size L, for that gun.The construction, and craftsmanship, is impeccable. The stitching is only single row, but heavy thread, and beyond adequate. The aesthetics are so-so...basic black, but it's a tool, for Christ's sake. It's for everyday concealed carry, at a very affordable price, not for making a fashion statement.All things considered, I'm not regretting buying either one of them.9/10 would recommend for 1911 style guns.10/10 would recommend for GX4.

I did purchase the large too see if it would fit both my compact and full size and only fits my compact. Still a great product.

The holster is inexpensive but well made leather

This appears to be a very good holster for the money. It keeps the firearm close to the body, good for concealment.

I have had my Bulldog pancake style belt slide holster for just over a month. I purchased it for a Ruger LC9S Pro (all Ruger LC9/LC9S/Pro are the same size unless fitted with laser on trigger guard- Rugers w lasers will NOT fit this holster). I had intended on boning (wet forming) this holster on arrival to get max retention for my Ruger as this is a generic fit molded holster. First time I placed the Ruger in it I was pleased with the retention even though the molding did not exactly match the lines of my pistol. I waited to post review until I had a chance to see how it functioned on a day to day basis. Boning may be in the future, but as of now I am perfectly happy with the retention. The leather is 3 to 3+mm thick. The stitching looks good. The finish is acceptable. This is not a $100+ custom holster and in that criteria this is a very functional, well made holster and as good as any under $50 holster I have seen. The forward cant of the weapon when holstered is about ideal for me. The holster is very comfortable and extremely concealable. I have the mag extension on my ruger which tends to print with other holsters. I find this to be more comfortable than my IWB holster and almost as discrete. Of course retention is less, but not to unacceptable standards. See photos for retention ( yes It retained even inverted up to a firm shake) and fit. Package arrived early and in good condition. Please do not oil leather holsters it will destroy them. If unlined interior bothers you; there is much info on-line for holster care from manufactures and gunsmiths.

I don't normally praise "generic" fit holsters, but this one fits my weapon like it was tailor made for it.I purchased the LARGE size for my PT111-MIL-PRO-G2After Fobus let me down by offering a sloppy-fitting multi-weapon holster for my Taurus, I went looking for a decent paddle or belt-slide holster that would offer a good "contour/molded" fit. I've had hit-and-miss luck with BullDog in the past, but for $15, I figured it was worth the try...Out of the package, the leather is pre-molded and fit my weapon perfectly. Leather is not dry or cracked like others have complained about... it is fresh and well oiled, yet stiff enough to maintain shape/retention. Belt-slides are pre-molded inward to make it easier on you (and your belt) when breaking it in. There is no hang from the front-sights as I draw, which was a concern of mine from dealing with other leather holsters in the past.The holster rides high and holds the weapon close to my body... better than those "kydex molded paddles" sold by you-know-who.I can easily carry my weapon all day with this holster, without fatigue or fear of it falling out. Sitting down or in a chair, in the truck/car, or riding my motorcycle while wearing this holster is easy and unobtrusive. It is EASY to conceal the weapon with a light-weight/short-waist jacket, or loose shirt.BullDog has begun to re-earn my respect... I'm still not crazy over their nylon holsters, but I've renewed my interest in their leather!UPDATE 12/04/13:I've been using this holster daily for a couple of months, and I'm still loving it. It is holding it's shape quite well, leather is still perfect, and retention is spot-on. My son recently purchased a PT111-G2 for himself, and I ordered a second holster for him for his birthday.
