Recalibrated my impression.Initially I bought DW5600 BB as my first G Shock because I have never tried or knew much about a G shock & a lot of reviews pointed out that GD350 or G shock as a whole generally is huge and that has steered me away from going for this gem of a watch which I initially wishlisted as my first, and went for a sleeker smaller DW5600BB, which is a classic and I loved it. But it always felt small and toy like on my wrist. Its sexy no doubt but I’m glad I bought GD350 2 months later and this changed everything I felt about a G shock. So I’m just comparing my GD350 over my earlier buy as a review.Pros- Better and bigger negative display, with more legible angles and for some reason higher quality than on DW5600bb.By evening readability on dw5600bb is trash and you’ll constantly find yourself abusing the backlight function which in itself is a pain to press all the time.- The buttons are not recessed which is a big pro over DW5600 which made me use my nails meticulously to adjust or function anything and I had given up on the utility aspect cause of the irritation. The feedback and response is simple top notch.- God the super illumination is by far better and more accessible than the DW5600bb, practical and Tactical. Although the screen is far bigger and more readable having an even better illumination is an icing and will come in handy when in pitch dark places.- The build quality and weight, the feel the overall look makes this watch truly shine and the price value proposition is greater than my earlier buy even though this is only a tiny amount more expensive you’ll get a lot of bang for your buck.- I’m yet to use most of the available functions but the UTC time zones and 5 alarms with snooze function, Vibration alert auto backlight and so so much more already surpasses DW5600bb in all aspects in functionality.-The winglike extensions below the dial keep the watch locked in place so even if u wear it a tad loose it will keep itself centered on your wrist irrespective of the size of your wrist.Cons- Besides the fact that it’s big yes that should not be the deciding factor at all for a con. Trust me I did the exact same and I regretted it. Buy it try it gift it if u dont like it but do not let reviewers tell you that the size is a problem cz its really low on the list of problems in this watch if there is ever one.- no solar charge. which could have come in handy for people who would use all or most of the battery draining functions in this watch to its fullest outdoors on an adventure trek or hike etc.- no mobile app or Bluetooth sync option but I wasn’t expecting it at this price either.Overall had I bought this as my first I definitely wouldn’t have bought DW5600bb despite the fact that I don’t hate it now but GD350 is the true G Shock both in quality practicality and functionality. DW5600bb whereas has a classic look and is a collector’s item.

I had been wearing this watch since 2014 and had rebought it again as I misplaced my previous. But Lucky to get my hands on this Beautiful watch. Truly G Shock. Decent black Matte finish, user friendly, ideal size and premium look. My EDC watch. A must buy under Rs 7,000/-

I absolutely love the way this GD350-1b looksBe it the blacked out tactical looks orThe large & crisp negative LCD display ( a highly legible one ) orThe subtle blue LED backlight which looks really cool at night.The resin material feels of top quality like any other G-Shock.So 10/10 for look & feelI was using the GA400-1B( 70gms) before this and the GD350-1B at (75gms) , weight won't be an issue for most.The Vibration Alert , the quick timer button , auto light on gesture are the few highlights of this watch.The Vibration Alert is really useful specially if you're in a meeting or something or your don't want the hourly/timer chimes to sound out loud.A 4-5 Year battery Ife ensures peace of mind as well.One thing I would suggest is to immediately register the product on the Casio product registration site and match all the serial numbers as well.If you're into G-Shocks or Rugged watches in general & want a solid watch for outdoor/everyday usage , definitely consider this one.

Liked the built and usability, tough look and is a good buy under 6 K during sale.

Pros:~ Stealthy looking matte-black resin band and casing~ Beautiful negative display with huge and clear digits~ Vibration alert (Can be set for alarms, hourly chime and key-press)~ Super Illuminator backlight which is a lot better/brighter compared to Analog + Digital G-Shocks which support a single weak LED.+ The super illuminator also flashes on the screen for alarms and hourly chime when vibration is disabled.~ One click timer shortcut which displays timer on the home screen (The metal button)~ Auto - Light (Which turns on the light when you flick your wrist)~ Has extra fins on the resin band for people with small wristsAs expected you also get the usual set of features like a world clock with 35 time zones (100 cities + UTC), 5 alarms, stopwatch, and a timer (which, as spoken earlier has a shortcut to be accessed directly from the home-screen without switching modes). You also get the usual rugged shock and water proof body that you come to expect from G-Shock watches.Personal opinion:Most Analog + Digital G-Shocks have extremely busy looking dials which make it a bad timepiece even though you might appreciate the looks. With this watch, you will notice the time within a fraction of a second as opposed to having to scan through the chaos of Analog + Digital mess to see the information you want. This is straight to the point, clean, stealthy, and has a massive negative display that is not only functional but also sexy. The vibe alert is extremely useful in meetings where you don't want your watch to ring or in places with loud noises where you can't hear your watch ring. The metal button to access timer from the home-screen is great for workout sessions where you can just start time timer with a single push and get to your routine.Cons:~ Negative displays, though absolutely beautiful are not that legible in the dark (This is partially solved by the super illuminator)+ But I've also compared positive display watches in similar lighting and they performed a little better but not by much, and most Analog + Digital G-Shocks below 10k do not come with illuminated hands so you'll face the same issue even with those.~ The timer shortcut is extremely helpful but once started can only be turned off after you switch modes (But don't worry, the timer always stays on the date area when it's running on your home-screen)
