Loved this story many years ago. Bought it for my 3 year old and he enjoyed a lot. Would recommend

The book is a brilliant story for both boys and girls and really gets the magic of imagination flowing. I would highly recommend for children 3-6 years.I decided to by a second hand version for a couple of reasons, I cost of books are high and recycling is important to me. I choose what I thought was a good company (Amazon Seller) World of Books Ltd and followed the book grading guidelines and decided to go fo a use very good grade. The book I received was so floppy it felt like it had almost been through the washing machine, it had been so well read that the books cover and general shape had lost it integrity and really felt like there was no crisp life left in the book.Very disappointed, book was still readable and my daughter enjoyed the story but will not be able to keep it to read to other children as its way past it best. Just a little reminder that not all sellers on amazon follow the book grade guidelines.

Highly recommended! I read this book to my son when he was young, now I’m reading it to the grandchildren.Always fun, always engages the child, never lets me down.

Just as described, will make a great gift. Shipping was delayed, but was still delivered in time for when it was needed.

For us, this was an instant kid’s classic. Our daughter loved it and we really enjoyed reading it over and over (not in the same bedtime).We’ve bought this for the newest family member because we know they’ll love it too.

I used it in a Y1 maths lesson. Linked well with exploring capacity. Very enjoyable story.

Fun story about a little boy who has a very special bucket! I bought it for an "under the sea" topic and it is fab!

I read this to my Year 1 class and they loved it. It's a great story with a funny ending.

All my preschoolers loved this book and now I have this copy for my own grandson to enjoy. Like new condition, fantastic delivery time and price as well. So much to discover on every page - seriously a "10"!

We loved it. I used plastic buckets for each child with treasures in them like the book
