Katie and the Impressionists

Beautiful book and so imaginative! I bought my first one in England and gave it to my art teacher to read to her granddaughters. They love it and request it when they come to visit. I bought another one for myself, and am waiting for my grandkids to get older to appreciate it!

Sweet story, we love this series. A great, gentle introduction to the concept of Impressionism and artists for children.

Love this book! The drawings are beautiful and capture the impressionist style well. My daughters age 5 and 3 ask to read them over again and again.

Real education absorbed through the air you breathe

I love James Mayhew's Katie stories, they are lovely to read and lovely to look at. A wonderful way of encouraging an interest in art, and in making stories as enjoyable for parents to read as they are for children to listen to.
