Enables you to read well but fiddly if In bed lying down
I had an old kindle with no light and this does enable me to read when the light is not good enough to see . Not given it 5 stars as it tends to swing around whilst I’m lying in bed and I have to hold the light .... if I’m upright outside eg then it’s not so bad ..... it does the job but not as rigid/stable as I thought

One failure after 12 months, but replacement is currently fine
I bought this a year ago and it worked very well. The light was bright enough and it was a nice fit for the Kindle I had. I haven't used it a great deal (I am still using the original battery), but while I was on holiday recently I noticed that only one of the three LEDs was working properly - the other two flickered on and off distractingly. I tried fitting the replacement battery the seller had included with the original purchase, but that didn't help. This happened 12 months and 4 days after I placed the order, so Amazon tells me I can't return the light. It is, on the surface, a quality item, but it wasn't cheap and, used carefully and sparingly as it was, it should have lasted longer.UPDATE: After contacting the supplier directly they sent me a replacement which is working fine.

Looks Good
Only had the Kandle a couple of days, but initial impression is very good. It's a perfect colour match for my Kindle and seems to fit firmly, (but not too firmly). It comes supplied with fitted batteries, but what is a really nice thought is that included in the box were a spare set! Also, I had an order confirmation email from Ozeri which went beyond the usual 'your order has been received', but went on to say how much my custom was appreciated in the current climate, which again was thoughtful.Have now used the Kandle now and I can confirm that it is very good. I spent but a few seconds working out the best position for the light, then I was well away, didn't even notice the miniscule extra weight.

handy for travel
I didn't know that using a light with a Kindle would be easier on the eyes, but it is. After a long day, I want to relax, not strain my eyes, nor wake my husband with a bright light. This little light is just bright enough to gently lighten the screen and the immediate area around it. It isn't too bright, and there are 2 light intensity settings so you have a little choice in how bright you want to go.The light nicely folds away into the clip w hen not in use, and even comes with a handy velvet-like pouch for travel. This product also comes with two extra button batteries in addition to the ones already inside the Kandle. At first I didn't think the clip was going to work, but just ease it onto the side of the Kindle, and it will widen enough to hold itself firmly in place. This light would be great for travel when sharing a room with others, such as camping, staying at youth hostels, or for those stormy days when the power goes out - build an indoor fort and set the kids up with a good book on the Kindle and have a day of adventure.

A very handy e-reader light
Bought this to make it possible ot read my Kindle at night - a basic feature you would have thought an e-reader had as standard. If you are buying a 7th generation Kindle make sure you check its specs v. carefully. The newer Kindle Touches have had a lot of functions stripped out of them. This handy device fits on neatly on the Kindle wherever required and the goose-neck design makes it easy to position in such a way you won't disturb anyone sleeping when reading or or getting up during the night. I found it v useful when going on holiday and wanting to avoid waking my insomniac friend. A little switch on the head allows you a choice of two settings - low or high light intensity - and either is sufficeint to allow you to navigate a dark room safely. You could also use it to illuminate a paperback by attaching it to a headboard or even to a chunk of the book itself. I have yet to try this. The design makes it useful where a small, bright light is required - craftwork springs to mind or small fiddly repairs in a hard-to-see or confined space. For example, I intend using it to read the tiny numbers etched on sewing machine needles. It was delivered very quickly and Ozeri thoughtfully supply a spare set of batteries and a small drawstring bag. I thoroughly recommend it.

Would recommend
I bought this light as I keep my boyfriend awake at night when I'm reading, and I was looking for a soft light that would focus only on the page. This is a great product and works really well. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the softer light setting is still too bright, and I have to put a sock over it to stop it from being too bright. Overall though, I would recommend this, and it comes with two spare batteries!

Good quality light for kindle - limitations for use with paper books
Bought to replace Verso Clip-On Reading Light for Kindle which was too quickly dimming.I was very happy with the Kandle Flex with 3 bright leds and 2 settings for the light. Both settings are bright and the light dsitribution is good. So far the light remains bright, lasting longer than the Verso light.I was impressed with the quality of the product. It is robust, I would feel happy carrying it around in its handy pouch, in a handbag and I like the way that you can clip the light into the the clip when not using it.It fits very snuggly on my kindle, with rubber so that the kindle is not scratched. I can fit it easily even though I have my kindle in a holder that makes it much thicker.I also use this with paper books. The clip does not work so well with a book, because the rigid clip function is not so easy to attach to a book. However I do manage, although often by balancing the light next to the book, rather than clipping it on.However as this is aimed at e-books I have no hestiation in awarding it the full five stars as it is an excellent good quality product which I would recommend.

Great little light
This is great sturdy little light wih a flexible arm which gets easier to use as you get used to it. The only problem is that it doesn't fit onto my Kindle with the cover on. However by pulling out the cover flap at the top I can push the light onto my Kindle and this works well. The light angles away from my sleeping husband and doesn't disturb him so I can happily read my Kindle when sleep evades me!
