Bob's Red Mill Whey Protein Concentrate, 12-Ounce Bags (Pack of 4)

I have a protein shake every morning with my breakfast. I mix three heaping common teaspoons of whey with about 6 oz of milk and some other stuff and then whip it with a hand blender. It tastes great and adds protein to my morning routine. I have tried other whey powders with artificial flavors and they taste awful, the plain whey tastes the best with milk.

I'm so tired of name brand protein powders that are usually both too sweet and way too thick. I wanted one that just dissolved easily and let me decide on the formulation and recipe.Bob's Red Mill is a great brand, and this product is no exception. The only drawback is the relatively high price. I've taken to mixing it into other (cheaper) flavored powders. Nice balance.

My wife won't let me buy anything else

Fast delivery. I like concentrated whey rather than isolate whey because it is less processed. This product is clean and dissolves well with no additives, fake chemicals, fake sugar, or color. It has a neutral taste, not sweet or bitter, which allows you to flavor it with your own preferences. It can be sweet or savory depends upon your choices.

I can’t stand the fake sugar in most protein powders - this is just straight up protein that I can hide easily in smoothies, adds a bit of fluff and thickness.

I liked everything about this product except the pricing. Quality, flavor (or lack thereof), brand promise, packaging are all excellent. But other unflavored protein powders that offer the same or similar benefits are much less expensive. BRM costs about $1.21 per ounce. My go-to brand: about $0.75. I'd do a monthly subscription if the cost was more in line with competitors.
