Takes a while to figure it out and still needs considerable strength cannot be used with just one hand

Purchased as a gift for the mother in law as her hands have become very weak, as she is fiercely independent this item is perfect, she was made up with it and she uses quite a bit and says how easy it is to use and helps day to day life easier.

Found this so good to open jars and bottles. I did have an individual set but found this easier to find in the drawer.

Good jar opener, reasonable for the price

Works well and is okay to use, though on the smallest bottle opener I find it difficult to use on those small bottles. Not sure if I am getting weak or not, or maybe I am using it wrong?However I cannot complain for the price and only time will tell whether it breaks or not.

With an arthritic right hand simple jobs like opening bottles and jars can be a challenge, but I can get a good grip on this utensil and it comes in varying sizes and therefore requires less space for storage

This opens bottles and jars really well if you have arthritis, which I have badly in my hands, it has a good grip on the lids and the four different sizes is very useful.

I don't any problem with my hands so I don't use this often, just the occasional stiff jar lid. Using the recessed side is easy as it stays on top of the jar. The other side is a bit awkward as you have to get it on far enough but not too far and not press it down when opening the jar.The only real issue is that the largest opening is not quite large enough for some jam jars, e.g. Bonne Maman.
