Buttercup 300 ml Original Cough Syrup

I love this - honestly can't rate it enough... it's all natural so you don't have to worry about clashing with any other medications, it tastes great (when you already feel rough it doesn't help to have a disgusting cough medicine!) and it works across all coughs.I don't delay in taking it or giving it to the children. As soon as the cough starts, I start to take it/give it to the children and then take a bottle up to bed too so that you can have some in the night if you get woken by the tickle.This sized bottle is good and I always buy another straight after to have in the cupboard for next time because I got caught out without a bottle recently... our nearest pharmacy (9 miles away) didn't have any Buttercup but because I rate it so highly, I choose to leave with nothing and go 10 miles in the opposite direction to another shop. I thought buying an inferior, disgusting tasting syrup was pointless when I know how well this works and tastes.For regular coughs that come with a cold this syrup is extremely good and I can't recommend it enough.

I've tried all the main cough syrups. Personally, I have found this one to be the most effective. Tastes nice too.

The biggest bottle of buttercup I've ever seen! I've used this since I was young for coughs and colds. It's not a magic want but does help some cold symptoms.

I like this product and always have a bottle at home. This however only had a 6 month shelf life which is disappointing for any medication.

Helped clear up my cough fast. Tastes pleasant with no bitter aftertaste.Would highly recommend.

What's the point of rating flavour when the product is mostly useless. It doesn't work as an a medicine at all. Not effective at all for coughs. Have bought a Cavonia cough syrup to replace this one now.

Mild soothing for the throat perhaps. I was hoping for more expectorant properties, though in fairness it does not promise these on the bottle. It doesnt actually promise ANYTHING on the bottle, and in this it lives up to its promise.In desperation I tried someone elses stash of Robitussin for my chesty cough, which seemed to do a much better job of getting out all the yucky stuff.
