Tega Organic Rooibos Red Tea, 40-Count Tea Bags , 2.82 Oz (Pack of 4)

I had to give up my beloved coffee, believe me that was not easy after 35 years of not starting the day without it. I have acid reflux/esophogal damage, plus IBS, and other problems. My doctor adviced a caffeine free tea, preferrably a green/antioxidant tea (I've had several tumors so also wanting to not agitate tissue/inflammation... get cancer, none now). Anyway, I got some green teas and felt like I was drinking something foul. Then I stopped by my old coffee shop and asked about acid/caffeine free coffees and they steered me to this tea. I enjoy starting and ending my day with this tea. Some of the other teas I've tried give my stomach some upset if it is empty. This one is very calming to my stomach and a hot cup clears my breathing before going to bed. I don't know how to describe the taste so won't try but I will say that it is pleasant tasting. I like to add a dime-sized drop of honey and a wedge of lemon, or a tsp of Tang to give it a sweet citrus kick that blends well with its natural flavor. I'm sold on it. Oh, by the way, this tea has higher anti-oxidant levels than the green or black teas. It's red.

Very fresh in excellent protective packaging, My impression is that this Canadian company has a good source and is handling the product with love. This is the best rooibos I have found where I live (Southern California) and I'm thankful for access to an import that is in such good condition. I do love rooibos; I'm immediately refreshed by the slightly mineral flavor and I believe the antioxidants and minerals are good for me. The multi-box order in Subscribe and Save is economical and I am able to keep all of them tasting great by storing in the bottom of my refrigerator door.

This rooibos has a very bold flavor. I had to stop drinking black tea because of it's oxalate content. This is the only low oxalate tea I've found that feels like a satisfactory replacement. I've tried other rooibos teas and blends and enjoyed them a lot. Most have been lovely, especially the ones blended with vanilla. But this is the only one I've found that really replaces black tea for me. It tastes great plain or with cream or milk. It also works very well in a blend of 3:1 rooibos to black tea to make kombucha. And as an iced sweet tea. Really love this tea.

I was first introduced to rooibos tea by Teavanna, which was delightful by itself and also mixed with other fruity teas. Since I don't have a Teavanna in my area, I decided to look for some rooibos tea online. When I found this good deal on Amazon, I thought I'd give it a shot. Unfortunately for me, it's not the greatest tasting rooibos tea.

I have ordered this tea several times. I like red tea, it relaxes me for a good night's sleep. This brand is consistently good, nice flavor, and price is as good as anyplace else. A couple of neat, circular teabags in a big mug is almost a bed time ritual wilth me.

Strong, very flavorful tea. It can stand alone or be mixed with other teas, which is what I like to do. I have bought this many times and will continue to do so.

It is not easy to find a full and rich tasting organic Rooibos tea...We recommend this tea and just look at the great brewing color. Try it is a glass tea pot and you can get the full color range.

This tea tastes great and is a great value. You can't go wrong with it. I like to just stick a couple bags in the fridge in a container of water and drink iced rooibos tea all day.
