This roller ball is a lot larger than I expected it to be. I have another one that is half this size. I put it in the freezer and it allows me to massage my foot and leg often throughout the day. It does stay cold for a good amount of time. I was going to use it in my travel bag but it’s too big and heavy so I’ll use the smaller one instead and use this at home. It is quite heavy.

This product does exactly what you want it to do. It massages while icing. I had surgery on my elbow tendon, when I started playing baseball again and throwing after being on the shelf for a year my fore arm was getting really tight and sore. Using block ice to massage was not working well. It was painful and made a mess. Thus is great because you hold a part that is not cold ands the stainless steel ball rolls smooth and stays cold for hrs.

I have tried many things to ease the pain of planters fasciitis, this item did not disappoint, I like the fact that you can hold it in your hand and use it that way, much more control. Helps to ease the pain, and easy to use.

It does bring some relief to muscle pain. Mostly using it to treat a repetitive motion injury, arm. It does stay cold for a long time.Couple details. The diagram on the included user manual shows "rubber bottom for stability when using for foot massage". Nothing on the base is rubberized. All hard plastic. Have tried to use in the case on the floor for plantar fasciitis roller. The case does not stay put. It slides. Better results out of the base.The product description here says "case with wrist strap". No wrist strap. Not a huge deal, but it would be handy to have one.
