I did not order the one with labels. However, I can only assume that you write what is in the jar.

Q: Is it microwave safe?

This is a bit small to use as any kind of cookware/serveware. I bought to use as a sugar "bowl" - it is perfect for that. Especially with airtight lid and spoon.
