Great product

You read so much about range kettles. We researched different types/brands for ages before making our purchase. We ended up opting for a stainless steel version as opposed to aluminium or hard anodised (just personal choice having read about the different metals.) We are glad we did as we absolutely love this kettle. We use it on an oil-fired Esse range and it heats up quickly on the hot plate with the range set at just over 100 degrees celcius. We run our range 24/7 over the winter mostly on tick over. We crank it up to just over 100 when we get up in the morning, by the time the dogs have been fed our kettle is boiling, in fact it starts boiling before they've finished. The kettle sits happily at the back of the range so the water keeps hot for when we want to pop it on the hot plate (obviously need to make sure it has sufficient water in for this purpose.) We put one of those little kettle descaler meshes inside as we live in a hard water area but we do use filtered water. We have been using this kettle for about four months now and it's as clean as a whistle inside. We never get any film/scum on the water and our tea tastes great. Would absolutely recommend this kettle. It is perfect for our needs.

Bought this for my mother as a gift for Christmas. She was thrilled. It heats up fast as lightning on her AGA . t's pricy but well worth it.Speedy delivery and well wrapped for transport too.

A modern classic. sturdy, attractive & comes to the boil quickly. Works on induction & Aga equally well.

Expensive but worth it. Too heave for kids to use it.
