Q: If you cook rice and leave it on keep warm overnight, does it dry out the rice?

Thank you for your inquiry. After the beep sounds to signal cooking of the rice has completed, the "WHITE RICE" menu selection will automatically be switched to KEEP WARM. This keep warm mode can be used for approximately 6 hours, for optimal rice. The cooked rice should be consumed as soon as possible. Experimentation with the various types of beans and lentils may be needed to achieve the end-users preference on cooking these.
