This paper organizer is easy enough to assemble--and the package comes with both an extra screw and a small, phillips-head tool so that you don't need a screwdriver. BUT, the pieces come with screws pre-set, and you need to remove those screws in order to assemble the organizer.In my case, two of the screws were in so tight that I couldn't get them out with the small tool provided. (Small woman, in my 70s, some arthritis in my hands.) At first I thought I might have to return the product, but I found that simply using a regular-sized screwdriver, rather than the small tool, worked--the longer shaft and better handle provided more force and a better grip so that I could get the dang screws unscrewed! I bought the double pack--so, in total, eight screws, and two of them (one on each of the organizers) were so tightly screwed in that I couldn't get it out with the included tool.Just a hint in case you find your problem is not with assembling the organizer but with getting the product ready to assemble . . .

... This letter tray organizer is very well built and should last me a long time. The descriptions are exactly as described. I was afraid of the bad reviews but not to worry. Sometimes a bad one comes through but I am happy with the purchase.

Easy assembly. Great for organizing and very sturdy.

I ordered two letter organizers but was missing two shelves. One organizer complete, one missing shelves. I contacted Amazon and within one hour the manufacturer responded to me to identify the problem. I was given two options to rectify the problem. First one was to receive complete new unit within 3 days or receive missing shelves from China which would take 10 days. I did not have to return anything. I selected a new unit and it was delivered within 3 days. I feel the company solved the problem in a very timely manner. 5 stars for them and the product.

This is simple organization that does not take a lot of room. But stores a lot. Sits quietly on the corner of my desk. But looks nice.

I am very happy with these shelfs for the price. I would suggest these to anyone. the directions suck, but that is the norm now. but these are really easy to assemble.

I purchased two units, and even though I had to manipulate the sides to get the screws in it wasn't too bad. Concerns are a very rough metal part on the top edge that I had to sand, it was a hazard. Of course, it doesn't look great because now there isn't any black paint left. Also, the shelves bow a bit. They will hold paper but they are not nice and flat.
