Raoul Duke Fear and Loathing Costume Kit

About what I expected for the price.The medium shirt is way too wide for me (I am 6ft, 160lbs) so I'm having it tailored down for another $12 (well worth it in my opinion). I normally wear a size large, slim fit, but I ordered medium after reading other reviews saying it was a little wider than expected. I imagine if I were on the stockier side (or just plain fat) then this shirt would fit quite handsomely. Also the shirt is pretty cheaply constructed (polyester I'm guessing). There's a long thin white line across the back where the sewing didn't come together correctly. All-in-all it's a pretty decent replica, pattern-wise. I must admit it is more of an orange-ish color than the yellowish I was expecting.The hat is of higher quality than the shirt and luckily for me it fits just right, with a tiny bit of wiggle room for comfort (my head is roughly 23"). I appreciate the fact that there is green underneath the brim, true to the original.The glasses looked pretty cool at first, but upon closer inspection they are very cheap, like the shirt. I noticed one of the nose pads was pushed in much further than the other one, but I'm hesitant to try bending it into place after reading another reviewer who said it broke off when he did this. One minor complaint is that the top center bridge of the glasses is brown, not white like in the movie. No big deal, I can probably take some nail polish to it for a quick and easy fix (make sure you rough it up a bit w/ fine sandpaper then clean it w/ paint thinner or nail polish and allow to fully dry before attempting this!).The fly swatter is all black, which is fine, and appears to be fully functional. I may actually use it to kill some flies one day to get some extra bang for my buck on this costume!The cigarette holder is the real deal, and looks pretty nice surprisingly. Now I just have to bum a cigarette off someone.All-in-all I'd say this is a pretty good last minute fix for a costume, and about the quality you'd expect for the price. I'd have given a solid four stars if the shirt wasn't so cheaply made w/ noticeable defects in the sewing and stitching.The real fun is going to be playing the character at Halloween parties this year!Peace.

I'm 6'2 185lbs (normal, athletic build) and I ordered a Medium. It was kind of wide and baggy, but it goes with the character. Length was long enough. Normally I wear a Large in almost every other shirt if that helps. I would order a size down on whatever you normally wear.

I kind of thought the shirt would be made out of the same material any other clothes are made out of..it’s more like the cheaper material you see on most Halloween costumes. It also runs really big! I got a size Medium and it looks like a XXL. It’s still a decent shirt though. Hat is nice-it’s a legit hat. The props are good too..I think it’s funny that it came with the bat swatter. Can’t wait to wear

Better quality than expected and had an unexpected breast pocket as well. fit great and gave everyone a good laugh! BTW I am 6ft 1in and 200lbs with an average build. I will keep this costume in the closet for many emergency costume parties to come!

Shirt is great not only as a costume, but as a general shirt! The hat is big and the sunglasses are INSANELY huge. Like, whose head is that big?? Flyswatter is fairly deadly in the right hands tho.

Bought for Halloween, was not disappointed. Comes with everything you need! Made for men so I bought a small and it worked out perfectly. Everyone loved this one, and it was one of the comfiest costumes I've ever worn for Halloween!

5’11” 170-185 Ordered Medium fit comfortably probably could fit a small if you want it fitted more. Fabric has rough texture.. Hat ran big on my head. I wear a size 7-71/4 fitted new era cap. Glasses are cool and probably can fit everyone and anyone nicely. Bat Swatter is plastic and is just fine.

Great costume, very well detailed. People came over to take pictures with my husband.
