Q: I want to use this on my multicolored area rug (black, blue, white), will i be able to use it without the colors fading or ruining?

It did not change the colors in several carpets and rugs that I used it on.

Q: what if i want to clean the whole carpet, like 4~5 door mats size, is it gonna take forever to dry?

Since you are dampening the carpet it will require drying time. Perhaps a fan will speed up the process but this is mostly for spots, spills or high traffic-- a rug that size you would be using the a lot of product. I like this product a lot but I would recommend renting a carpet cleaner a couple of times a year and doing all your carpets at once. Then use this produce for spills or touching up dingy areas.

I cleaned my full family room with one can. It's probably 13x10
