"As others have stated, this does have open areas at each end of the bag where it hangs over a rod, so it wouldn’t keep out pests, but I’m only using it for a dust cover. Just in case, I use lavender sachets to repel pests and that’s worked so far in closets and cabinets. Since my small clothes rack has to be visible in a bedroom, I removed the fold lines from packaging, which were, actually, very slight, by placing this storage cover in my dryer with a couple of slightly damp hand towels, on low setting, for 2 minutes, and it came out fine—no wrinkles or fold lines. Wouldn’t leave it in dryer any longer or hotter than that. I like the fabric, very soft, no noticeable odor. I don’t know about durability or travel, so rated them average, and I do think this is kind of expensive but would buy it again."
