I bought these to hold my children’s swings from an overhead wooden beam.They’re essentially a rigging standard D shackle attached to a threaded bolt, complete with retaining ring.They easily take my (adult) weight so I have confidence in them being fine with abuse from the kids!

I thought this would have been ideal to screw into wood but unfortunately not! I wanted to hang a swing seat on my pergola but they just wouldn’t go in.
