This filter is poorly designed and made
This filter is built “backward”.... the reinforcing straps are on the opposite side of the filter from where they should be. You either have to place the carbon layer facing out or restrict air flow by placing the hepa paper and reinforcing straps facing out. Paper part seems too thin; don’t know how much filtering will get done before it clogs. Must be a cheap Chinese... Poor design. I would look elsewhere

Does the job
The last time I purchased this filter from this seller it came in a two-pack. That's what I was expecting with this order since the header for it on Amazon says "filter pack." Apparently a single filter qualifies as a pack because that's what I got. It also took a while to arrive. Nevertheless, it is substantially cheaper than buying directly from Hunter, fits my Hunter air cleaner and works fine. FYI: The packing slip says Hunter replacement filter on it but there is no way to verify since the filter frame has no identifying stamps or marks.I will likely continue to purchase this type of replacement filter, although perhaps from a different seller and hopefully as a 2-pack at a decent price.

Ok but not exactly correct
I need to read more carefully! This is aftermarket while the height is correct the width is bit shy so the filter does not make a tight seal within the unit. I think the air can move around the filter so the quality of filtered air will not be as good. Oh well back to shopping for actual filter.

item is what I expected. The size is correct for my air cleaner. I wish the filters either cost less or lasted longer. I find that they last about a month. I do run the air cleaner continuously.

Needs better packaging
Filter seems fine but was crushed in its packaging. I straightened it out and laid something heavy on it overnight and that seemed to bring it back into shape.

I purchase these filters on a regular basis because I have two Hunter air machines that require this size. I am pleased with the air quality in the rooms where I have the machines and I will continue to order these filters for the life of the air purifiers.
