Our dwarf hamster seems to love this blend, no complaints here. Worth the price, seems to last him awhile.

Fresh food! Well done!!!!!
I can see that this hamster food is very well made. It is perishable so it is freshly made. I freeze a bag and leave the existing one in the frig which expires in 30 days. I can tell my hamster LOVES his new food and honestly if you look closely at all other hamster foods online, the are crap with terrible quality ingredients. No wonder Hanster live a short life. My little guy is now more energetic and more engaging. 5 stars!!!

Picky Hamster Approved!!
I was debating on buying this because my campbell dwarf is extremely picky and would only eat the seeds out of her mix. However, I believe in feeding raw food to pets so I figured it's worth a try.Getting her attracted to the scent of this food was the trickiest bit. She didn't want anything to do with it at first. But I had an idea- I rubbed some cucumber over a handful's worth of pieces, put those pieces in a ziploc bag with the ends of the cucumbers, and put that in the fridge for a day or two to allow the smell to accumulate. She took to it immediately once I handed it to her. After I finished off the bag of the cucumber-scented seed clusters, I switched to the clusters with their original scent. No issues! I'm so happy! The only negative thing I have to say about this food is that the pieces are super large for dwarves. I have to break the clusters in half- sometimes quarters- in order for her to be able to eat them. Also, a lot of reviews are saying that the protein is 13%. It seems that they've updated the recipe to the full 18% which is amazing. No need for supplemental veggies and fruits (although I still do if she seems to slow down on eating her food- just for a change. I do this about once a week.).Healthy Henry's Hamster Food is Poppet approved!!

Good but VERY expensive
Hamsters seem to love the food and I totally love the fact that they do not use any preservatives or anything artificial. It reminds me of the food I feed to my parrot (Harrison's) which is the best out there and I love how you can see the freeze dried veggie's in it. My two main complaints is that the protein is too low (listed at 12% and hamsters need around 16%) so I mix it with a seed mix and Oxbow Healthy Handfuls. I hate having to mix it with other foods as it kind of defeats the purpose of it being such a healthy and natural food. My other complaint is the price...its just totally outrageous. About $16 for a tiny 8oz bag compared to Oxbow which is around $6 for 1lb. I feed all of my pets the best foods on the market (Raw frozen diets, ziwipeak, premium canned etc) and do not mind spending the extra money on them but this one is really pushing it. If I fed this exclusively, it would only last my 2 black bear hamsters about 10-14 days.

No idea how much to feed or when it spoils?
I wanted to like this since I love my pets. I have no idea how much to feed my hamster (cannot find information online). Nor can I find how long it lasts for.

Great for picky hamsters
My hamster is a picky eater but he eats all of this food. Yes, the bags are smaller then the ones you can get at most pet stores. However, my hamster eats every least piece of this food. With the other food I was buying him, the majority of the food went to waste because he wouldn’t eat it. Just a couple clusters fill him up. I bought two bags at once thinking I would run out of food quickly but I was wrong.I found my hamster outside (yes, he’s an actual hamster not a rat lol). Someone tossed him over a fence. I found him outside in the rain close to the box and bedding that he was thrown in. This happened Christmas Day last year. I’m assuming he was a Unwanted Christmas present. He had a rough first half of his life and the least I can do for him is feed him food that is enjoyable. Just because our pets are small doesn’t mean they arent worth caring for. Spend the money to care for them fully.

Hamster and Owner Approved!
I have never been very happy with store-bought hamster mixes. I found this on a whim when looking for hamster treats, and am so glad I did! This food is high quality and my hamsters LOVE IT! They devoured it within minutes of me putting a bit in their cages. Usually, my hamsters eat only the seeds from their store-bought mixes and leave the processed bits (waste of money, and not nutritionally complete) but they eat every bit of this food! I love the ingredients and also love the quality of service. Not only did the food arrive super quickly, but it was prepared literally the day it shipped. I am so impressed by this company and food, I will definitely be a return customer.(Naturally I couldn’t get a picture of her eating it—she decided to nom on the piece of celery when I took the picture haha)

My Syrians love this food!
My two Syrians love this. One is a very picky eater and I’ve finally found something which he will eat all of and none goes to waste! A lot of people would find it pricey for the size of bag but remember that it is made fresh with healthy ingredients. My hamsters health is more important then a few extra dollars.
