NCLEX-RN Premier 2016 with 2 Practice Tests: Online + Book + DVD + Mobile (Kaplan Test Prep) 1st Edition

This is the same as the other one I purchased so it is kinda frustrating, I was hoping that this Premier book would have more stuff in it and the lessons were the same. If this is your first purchase then it is great study guide, if you have purchased other study guides, don't waste your time

Highly recommend this book. I passed the NCLEX on my first try with 75 questions using this book as my main study tool. The test taking strategies explained in this book are on point. The two 265 question test with rational provide you with the greatest preparation for passing the NCLEX; the first time.

This book tells you what you need to know but then you have to go look it up. Like it will tell you, know the se for this med...but it doesn't list them, you have to go look them up. So...what's the point of that? You need all the info in one spot. I would not reccomend this book. There might be other Kaplan stuff worth ordering, but not this one.

I will be starting school soon so it was good to know how the questions were to be formatted. This book and the Kaplan books in general have always been a decent resource for me. They keep things up to date and offer resources within the book to use at home on the computer etc.

The book arrived as promised. My issue is with the online promise of access to a digital version...it would only be logical to have access to the current edition, but this was not the case. I was given access to the NCLEX-RN Premier 2015-2016 which doesn't make sense considering that I purchased the newest 2016 edition. How can I follow along using different versions. I sent many emails with no substantial assistance from Kaplan. I figured it would be fair to have free access for 1 month to their Qbank NCLEX or at least at a great discount. I received no such thing other than 10 percent off their prep course to which I am not interested in.Is it too much for a consumer, who waited for the newest edition of a book and be promised online access to only get access to an older version, to be compensated? I think not: my time has been wasted. As for the content of the book itself, I cannot provide a comprehensive review: it has been acceptable thus far, however, I need more time to review as I have been focused on other prep materials. I believe my review to be objective and my experience could only be mine alone: I hope others will not experience this.My solution: No book/editor and/or Publishing company should release an edition without the corresponding updated digital version...this constitutes fraudulent practice and creates mistrust and shakes the integrity of the company with it's purported philosophies of quality and trust in its product and to the consumer.
