I ordered 100 ft because I wanted to make sure I had enough, then took one roll at a time plugged in to adapter, at bottom of steps (where I had plug in already). See pictures. Then turned them on with remote to make sure I liked them. They were bright and lots of fun colors, so I stuck the wired end underneath my stair lift track, removing the adhesive cover (be careful getting that started, it's kind of hard to get that peeling process started and this seemed very delicate). Then I pulled about 2 feet at a time slightly taut and stuck down gently with hand then went to top, then cut on dashed line. Then repeated same thing using second spool. I couldn't use the remainder of the first spool (even though long enough) because I didn't have new connector and didn't want to learn how to do that. So used second spool and connector already on that spool and cut it at top. Then I had two strands coming from adapter at bottom and wrapped a couple lights around top end of my track. It worked out perfectly symmetrical. Now, we have nicely lit stairs to help me not trip, or forget, that this new stair lift was installed, and provides nice light. I have it on green now for st. Patrick's day, and can change colors with remote and also do rotating colors with nice slow fade in and out (which I like the calm slow fade so it's not annoying). I have very high expectations am very detailed person and I give this a good rating, especially for price.

Great value, assuming it lasts, because I only installed it two days ago, we we will see. IF it lasts AND still is sticking in place in the moist environment of a bathroom, I'll keep this rating. It also works with bluetooth smart-phone-app, but the app is chinese so don't put it on a phone with personal data in it.So far the only problem is that it can't generate white light, just about every color but white. Yes, you can cut the strip at the designated segment separators. However, the cut prices are trash as they need the soldered connector to power supply.There is a specific "W" button on the controller but it sets the light to clearly medium blue. I have fooled around with mixes and the temperature and still no white (which is what I wanted). I've settled on the blue of "W" with a little yellow added to make it a pale blue.Lastly, it would have been really nice if there were a diffuser to eliminate the dotted reflections of the LED chips off the wall paint.

For the price I really can't complain...but the "white" light setting is actually light blue. I just put one row of lights around the trim at the ceiling, and two rows down the one corner where the outlet is so I wouldn't have to see a cord hanging. I should have just put them down all the corners, it looks so good! The lighting is bright enough to see well on the brightest light setting. They were very easy to install and you don't even need the extra corner pieces to make it look good. I ran them as a single strip from each port on the power box and had no issues setting up, installing, and with them working correctly. Again, my only complaint is that the "white" light setting is actually a light blue color as seen in the pictures. Pictures were taken with lights set to "white" light. At least it is relaxing, I can see in the room since I have no ceiling light with remote powered lights and don't have to stumble into the room to find and turn on a light. Very happy with them and will probably be buying again to add then to my classroom!

These easy to install lights have a wide range of colors although they do not represent white very well.Mine are installed in my entertainment room and are only used in weekends. I have them connected to the wireless “smart controller” so they can be controlled with Alexa.Unfortunately, despite the sparsity of their use, they have already developed discolored sections. You can see this reflected in the second photo.

if you've never put up LED lights before just know you have to clean off your walls where youre gonna apply it before putting this on or it wont stick that welli have a really bumpy popcorn wall in my room but they went on easy and stayed on and only took like 10 minutes cuz my room is relatively small. got 100 feet but only needed to use 50. it comes on two rolls and u can unhook them from the power supply if you need to for easier applicationthe remote works really well so i havent needed to use the app but from looking at the reviews of the app that youre supposed to use, it sounds like it sucksas long as youre not wanting these for bluetooth or whatever then these are really good lights and i recommend thempicture is the orange color

Comes with two rolls of LED's. The adhesion is quite strong still holding will update In a few months. Lighting is great and bright and the cable it come with for plugging in is quite long. It partners with am app that is clunky at the worst and okay at the best of times. Very limited option on app but the timing feature is actually a really great tool to have. Overall, a good buy for the price and recommended.

I have 3 kids 13, 7, 5 and they all have these in their rooms, they rarely use their room lights anymore, which seems to have saved us on the power bill. Great for little ones who are afraid of the dark as well, my oldest like the app which you can make the lights go with music, comes with a remote or you can use the app. These lights have been a lifesaver!

Bought these for my teenage son's room. He never put them up, so my husband hi-jacked them and put them in the living room. Haha. Fun colors, remote works as expected. Line is very long, I only wish it could be divided up as it would easily cover two or more rooms.
