Nice Gamepad IF your games don't require thumb stick precision
Good:* Plugged into Windows 10 computer via USB mini male (not a USB micro) to USB standard male, seemed to find the drivers I had already for my Sony-brand Dual Shock 3 gamepad (SCP drivers) and recognized by non-Steam and Steam games* Playstation face button mapping, helps orientation for those newer to the game pad* Cost is relatively much less expensive than what I thought a replacement Dual Shock 3 gamepad would be* The grip shape is practically identical to the Sony-brand, albeit a little heavier* If your game does not require precision from the left or right thumb sticks, then this is a fine additionThe Not Good / The Reason for the 2-star* The thumb sticks' weight is too heavy / tension is too tight / precision is severely lacking / dead zone is pretty wideFor some games that have aiming or looking mechanics with the right thumb stick, you can adjust the sensitivity down. It may do the trick for some single player games. For the left thumb stick, no amount of adjustment I tried with Steam calibrations, driver settings available to me, or beating up the thumb stick to break it in would give me the precision I was looking for. For reference, this is just the default Sony-brand gamepads. I now dread when I have to walk narrow paths. Or if I have to use a bow on a moving target. And I've given up sneaking and performing stealth finishers on anyone, because this left stick tension says you're going to running and not walking. If you do manage to find the zen to initiate a walk, the joystick reacts strongly enough when going to neutral or trying to change directions that you may enter a run. Enough of a run for the enemy to say, "HEY! I SEE U." When I try to look at him to apologize, I over shoot my gaze unless I remembered to lower my look sensitivity. This gamepad has effectively suspended my days as a tight rope walker, an archer, and a ninja. And I miss being a ninja.I'm not returning it since about a 1 / 3 of what I play only uses the thumb sticks for menu navigation and running everywhere is fine, but I am shopping for another gamepad now.Edit: I came back to this controller after trying three other gamepads since the durability of this was overall good. After about a month's worth of additional use, the confirm button (bottom button) started to not spring back up when pressed. And then the left joystick periodically drifted upward. It ended up getting me through a game in a non-stealth, non-aiming fashion, but unfortunately between the drift upward just as I'm making an important irreversible selection and the chance of the bottom button remaining depressed mid-action were enough to retire this controller.

Great.
Great it works right out of the box, just plugged it in and go, disconnected the cable and played for about 45 minutes with no signs of needing more charge. Left it charging for a while and it showed a full charge.

It has an actual D-Pad???
The controller feels great, I use it with a raspberry pie to play ps1 games. For some weird reason it has a 4 directional d-pad instead of 4 buttons, at first it felt weird but it's actually a really great dpad and felt like a massive improvement from the 4 buttons found in the original dualshock controllers.I haven't tested battery life yet because I haven't let it discharge, so I assume it's good so far.

Not Bad But Joysticks are Stiff
This controller is fine and well made but the joysticks are far too stiff. I play Rocket League which is a game that requires precision and technical skills. This new controller makes it much harder for me to score goals and hit the ball around because I get so much resistance. If you don;t play games that require precision then this is the controller for you. However, if you play games such as Rocket League or Call of Duty, beware. This controller will make it harder for you to aim.

You get what you pay for
I mean, it works. It's just a little wonky with the control sticks. I tried to find an original PS3 controller, but didn't see any. This will do for replaying my old games, but not suggested for a shooter game or anything requiring precision

Satisfied
With so many options, my concern was picking the best controller for the price. This controller has exceeded my expectations and I am very happy with it.
