The head piece is made of quality material. It is stuffed well and stitched strong. This seems to be very durable. The only down side is the Velcro strap that comes together under the chin area and around the neck is not very adjustable and is a bit snug, even for our four year old. Wish the strap would have most adjustable options. Overall, for the amount of time it will be worn, great quality product.

My son who 5years old loves Bowser enjoyed it and they fit's him fine with a little snug fit.I bought a chicken pajama for this costume and rolled up chicken head hood part and sewed around neck so it look like turtle shell necklinelol and added 4 spiky bracelets and monster looking slippers!They are all from amazon,so thank you for save us time to make this work! He got a lot of compliments in the night of Trick or Treat.My only disappointment was our first shipment was lost in transition.They refund me and I ordered again then that came quicker this time.So like any halloween,order earlier!

I couldn’t find any large dog costumes for Toad or Bowser in stores or elsewhere online so I settled for the child’s size of these Bowser Costume Kit for our Boxer. This year, our family Halloween costume theme was Super Mario Bros. (our son’s into Luigi right now). The shell (backpack) fit around her large barrel chest, but it was kinda tight, I was worried the straps’ velcro would come apart but they didn’t! I used a balloon air pump from the Dollar Tree I already had to pump air into it; it was easier than blowing air into it myself - then again, I’m pregnant so I lose my breath/get light-headed more easily than normal. The headpiece didn’t fit her head as well as I had hoped, because DUH! these weren’t made for dogs, but it worked for the pictures I quickly took of her for the sake of the ‘gram (tbh). They covered her eyes and the short straps with velcro barely fit around her neck. She didn’t mind the backpack, but the headpiece, albeit spot-on in terms of how Bowser looks, she didn’t like on. 4 stars because regardless of it being for children and not dogs, the price for two items is expensive! It didn’t even come with a yellow T-shirt and/or pants! But clearly I’m one of those who just bit the bullet because there’s no way (and neither do I have the time) to DIY any costumes, let alone a dog costume of Bowser.

Loved the outcome! Reason I purchased for my 3 year old was that it does not block his face. Easy on and easy off. He was comfortable and size to be true

The Hat is so cute. well made and fit my son well. The spike back is actually an inflatable. It works but I wish it were made of the same materials as the cap.

It's super cute. But the head piece was not as big and adjustable as we needed. Made it work though

First time buying a Halloween costume for the kid. He loved it! The velcro part became a little uncomfortable after wearing it for a while, but it was overall a good purchase.
