I will use it again for vacation
I had tested this product for a14 days period before my actual trip and surprisingly it worked well. There was also a huge amount of the vacation feeder block left in great condition. So it was time for my real 21 day vacation. I cleaned my tank 3 days prior to my trip then added one vacation feeder food block in a secure spot of my tank. So it needed to work for a total of 24 days. When I got back my tank was in great shape and there was still food remaining. Down side was my under gravel air filter was really filthy, and there was a layer of white food powder visible on my rocks but that's okay I usually clean it every 21 days. My tank is 2 1/2 gal, 34 inches tall and 6 inches round. It also has a long rooted pothos plant and is home to community of 5 fish. I also covered 98% of the top with press n seal for the trip to prevent total water loss. I figured that at the rate that my tank lost water (about 1/3 of inch a day) coupled with a vacation feeder food block would mean instant thick soup after 24 days. But the press n seal stop pretty much all water loss/evaporation and vacation feeder worked well.

All fish survived and no cloudy water
I was gone for a little over a week and used two blocks in my 40 gallon tank. All my fish survived, and my water was still clear. I even tested my water when I got back and everything was perfect!

Fish survived
My fish did survive. No one starved to death. But I left off a star because it leaves so much debris at the bottom of the tank. Looks like a light layer of sand in my 10 gallon.

These work well when you are going to be away for a few days.
We have a 10-gallon tank with 2 goldfish and 1 snail, I have used these a couple of times and they do seem to work well. However, after the 14-day feeding period is over, It is good practice to change the water in the tank as they do add extra matter to the water.

Worked perfect
These saved us in a pinch when our fish sitter canceled right before vacation. Did exactly what they say! We will use these again! (2 small beta tanks with one fish. One tablet each)
