I suspect this machine has Android phone version installed with a TV like launcher and not Android TV OS as the App Store installs phone apps. Also, the resolution of the apps are not configured for large screens even though they are media players and the like. I would presume it is built for the Chinese market and crudely "modified" for the rest of the world. There is a built-in app to install Android TV apps which works quite well. Last thing, the home screen could have more app space and less built-in app space. I will try and address these issues with the supplier.

I had a small Leelbox previously which isn't a patch on this. However experience with the other machine enabled me to instal the Q easily. It would have been difficult otherwise as the instruction booklet is useless having been written by somebody with a dictionary and little knowledge of English which is a pity as the machine has great features and is very fast. A mouse is also necessary and not provided.The apps provided are really good but heavily geared to the US market.Overall I am impressed and would recommend it. My thanks also to the seller.

The android box dosent even start. i did even check the charger the voltage is ok but the box dosent start. So i swap batteries to the remote and again nothing just a faulty machine dosent start. Its a big waiste of time for me and i had horrible experience without seller support very disapointing

I already have Sony Android TV for years and I am fluent to work with android TV. Recently I have bought that TVBox for an old TV set in kitchen. The Android in the box is not easy to use, very limited, but the good thing is it has google play store. I managed to install HBO GO and Netflix and I am able to watch movies on them, but their menu is not working, I cannot scroll in any direction and cannot browse anything. I can click only on small portion of movies that are seen on top, and can browse in mouse mode their menus. So I am using other devices to start watching something, and then I switch to those movies by selecting them in "Continue watching". Youtube works great, also settings and setup of the device are very easy. I would give 5 stars if hbo go and netflixs start working fully and I am able to browse movies there.

perfect as long as you download all the apps on to it, that means sport apps / film apps etc you can also take apps from within the store -- also please buy a mini key-pad to work with the remote supplied-- each one helps the other.

Love this box. I was streaming through my laptop and didn’t realise these existed. So glad I took the plunge so easy to use and next to no effort at all. I have bought a Smart Keyboard for it aswell as the remote as I find the remote isn’t great on certain Apps. Would highly recommend.

This box is not working properly and I am not pleased with the performance of it.The apps are not working properly and it is stopping and not in sync with video and voice.

Does what it needs to...and very fast
