I have not had a problem with the wire being exposed to direct sunlight.

Q: Is this wire a proper application for motor boats?

I don't understand the question. Although its very pliable and easy to work with.

Q: is this good for dome light in a car?

I think it'll be fine for auto lighting.

Q: Would this wire work for wiring a 12v dash fuel gauge to the tank sender unit that requires a ground wire with the primary wire?

My husband thinks the wire would be too light. He only used it to wire a dual USB port.
