but I like what I experienced
I have only tested the sleeping bag one time so far, but I like what I experienced. I questioned it when I felt how thin it was, but any concerns went away once I hopped in. I used it inside of my tent in below-freezing temperatures with a sleeping pad underneath. I was wearing layers in the bag, but nothing crazy at all, just two layers torso to foot. I was snug as a bug in the sleeping bag.The bag packs down to as small as you could hope for a sleeping bag.My only issue with it is that it's difficult to zip it all the way up. Even though it has a zipper inside and out, it's tough to do with one hand. part of the bag will get in the way of the zipper sometimes, so unless you can manage to get both hands to that side to zip it, it's going to be a tiny bit of trouble. For me, it's a bit tight in the torso area. I have a fairly large chest though, so that definitely factors in.Other than that, it seems great so far. I will update after I get some more use with it.

Great sleeping bag but like everything, it has it's limits...
Great sleeping bag. I bought one for me and got another for my wife. I am 6'6" and fit comfortably. Compacts easily into a stuff sack that fits in the bottom of my backpacking pack (which I use for canoeing instead of a Duluth Pack). As far as warmth, it does well until it meets it's match like last week in the BWCA. Temps in the low 40's with steady winds of about 30-35 mph with gusts up to 50+. Wind chill was into the low 30's and I was very cold. I was in a suspended tree tent and that may have contributed to the cold, but I did have an insulated air mattress under the bag. However, I had a blanket with me and I wrapped up in that outside my bag and was again warm. Really great to have the hood to cover my head. I am not a huge muscle builder but I found that when I was totally zipped in, it felt a bit confined around my shoulders and elbows. I would suggest if you do an upgrade design at some point, to add 2 to 4 inches width in that area.

Impressive Bag- Lovely Length and Snuggly Warm
This was ordered for my son for his back packing/bug out bag. My son being 11 years old and short I had to consider size, weight and room for his growth. I did a lot of research to find a versatile bag that would be fairly warm and well made in addition to accommodating these factors.Pros:Nicely made and good construction. Material feels fairly strong yet light enough to accommodate back packing. The inner liner is very soft rather like a high count thread Egyptian cotton and the inner fiber fill is soft and fluffy even though all contents and fabric are 100% polyester fiber/fabric. When I tried the bag on for size I instantly felt snuggled and very comfortable.Instantly warming. We have not rated the bag based on very low temperature as of yet but I presently am sitting here with it across my lap for warmth. As soon as I lay it across my lap I start to feel the warmth build up. I had additionally considered this for house use as we live in a non-insulated low heated 12 foot ceiling 100 year old farm house which can reach pretty extreme temps in the winter. As such I thought it would be an additionally good purchase to use during those chilly winter nights at the house. My son has slept with it and found himself very comfortable in lower temperatures around 50* though the real cold periods are yet to come. We plan to use this coupled with a emergency blanket or sleeping roll liner for those low freezing temps when camping if in fact he finds himself in need of additional warmth.Size. I feel this has plenty of room. I am not small being almost 5' 9" myself and weighing almost 200lbs was very comfortable in this bag with plenty of wiggle room. When I tried the bag I was rather shocked and the length and my 6' 7" brother immediately said, "wow....I think that bag would even fit me!" I love the cinch feature around the head with a nice long adjustable drawstring which allows easy opening and closing coupled with sliding cinch attachments so that you don't have to tie the cord or worry about it coming loose in your sleep. Easily accessible inside or outside the bag. Nice strong cording. A small pocket inside the bag is a nice storage feature though if you are a side or stomach sleeper you might find items in this pocket rather uncomfortable. Long zipper runs almost to toes and features a duel zipper pull for easy use both inside and outside the bag. Additionally cord pulls attached to zippers allow for easy finding in the dark. Fairly heavy duty zipper though plastic. A velcro tab across the chest helps to secure zipper to reduce the chances of it zipping down in your sleep. Great idea as I've had other bags zip loose during the night. Bottom loops on the bag allow easy hanging for drying and loose storage if you are one of those that believes bags shouldn't be stored rolled up.Cons:I was a little disappointing in the size of the bag which I had hoped would be smaller when packed. Not terribly heavy but will be a little too large for my son's back packing. I don't feel this is that big of a deal with the obvious intended use for adults rather than children but I feel it should be noted this is a little bigger packed than even what I might feel comfortable hiking with. I suspect for some this won't be an issue and if the intended use doesn't involve hiking this bag is of nice smaller size and will pack well.Zipper problems. I had read multiple issues with this bag concerning the zipper getting caught on the inner liner. This zipper was sewn in with a guard with the obvious intention of blocking this sort of problem in addition to protect from draft, however because the inner liner is a finer type of material it is very easy to get caught up in the zipper. My son did in fact have this issue happen right after unpacking and inspecting it even before I could inform him of the problem. It was fairly easy to repair and easy to keep from happening knowing the problem. Simply zip it up with your finger between the zipper and liner. Problem solved and not worthy of a lower rating in my opinion but necessary to note for those interested on purchasing this bag. I should note he was not in the bag at the time and this issue might very well be nonexistent when the bag is in use.Packing bag. Holy heck....It was near impossible to remove from the factory packing. It has a complicated adjustable strapping feature which allows you to further compress the bag after packing......I honestly haven't tried to repack the bag as I could hardly remove it even after loosening the strapping feature. It obviously can be done but might take an engineering degree. The strapping, once comprehended, is fairly brilliant and looks to be a great asset in compression when it comes to packing and back packing. For this feature I have to say, "be at least half as smart as the mechanism you are attempting to use". I would have already tried to repack this sleeping bag had my son not fallen in love with it and made in a permanent feature to his sleeping arrangements. Now I've owned a lot of sleeping bags from down sub freezing to summer bags and I have to say for the price this is really a rather nice bag. Very impressive length and much warmer than I had expected. Fabric appears that it should shed some moisture but most likely not water proof. Warm but that feature temp rating will be variable depended on multiple body factors. I don't think I would want to attempt to use this in winter weather as it has a thin fiber fill, but for fall and spring it should work fairly well. Summer might be a little too warm depending on camping local. I would rate this more along the lines of a 3 season bag but shying away from the colder parts of those seasons. Well made and stitched. Good for the price with previously noted cons almost not worth mentioning. Would I buy this bag again? Yes, but this time for myself.
